Our own fault coming to Sydney when vivid was on and staying at the rocks with roads closed and no cabs allowed through Almost decided about 5 times on the way to cancel this booking as weather and traffic so bad When we finally arrived...More

Went with a group of 4 for dinner. Service is attentive but not over the top. Wine list is excellent. The food is fine dining but accessible. The crab entree and the ribs are excellent. Try the french dessert wine to top it off. This...More

Every tiny morsel placed on the plate had been obviouly carefully thought out and substantially worked on to present perfectly and maximise flavour and flavour balances. We had the winter vegetables and Fraser Island spanner crab for entrees, silken tofu and New England lamb for...More

Perfect flavours & textures - every dish was excellent - the lamb & duck, both tender, & the scallop 'pudding, to die for. Nothing too pretentious, just good honest food served with imagination & great depth of flavour. Being able to order as much or...More

We had a great business lunch. Service wonderful, food exceptional, sommelier was extremely helpful and not over the top at all. My only tiny criticism would be portion size was a little small but really if I had asked they would have brought the same...More

I had lunch here with my mother and 2 Aussie friends on our second full day visiting Australia in early May 2017. Despite a dinner that night at Sepia and dinner two nights later at Quay, this lunch at The Bridge Room was my favorite...More

From the first bite to the last, it was evident throughout that each component of clean, intense flavour on every plate had been thoroughly thought through and carefully composed. There were punctuations of surprises, twists and turns which made the whole meal exceedingly fun and...More

I eat out a lot and only bother to review restaurants that I either love or hate. I hated the Bridge Room. A total disappointment. Based on it's 3 hats AND it being named by the Australian as NSW's 'hottest' restaurant, we had great expectations...More

My Fiance and I recently visited the Bridge Room for his birthday dinner. The service was awesome, they paid so much attention to us and were full of information about matching wines to the meal (a part of degustation my partner loves!) The Food was...More

frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit

I have read the reviews and in the last 4 weeks the reviews have been very bad???? I am here in Sydney until the end of May and was thinking of going to this 3 hat restaurant but not in reading the very bad reviews it has had in the last month. So I would like to know what is The Bridge Room doing about these very bad reviews? or are they so snobbish that they do not heed the publics response? if not then they are very stupid indeed. Please can someone from the restaurants Senior Management answer this? or I am sure they will lose their 3 hats and go back to 2 as at this moment they are not worthy of 3 hats.

Total waste of money and time. Don't bother. There are so many better options. You're right - no one there is paying attention to feedback. They don't deserve even one hat in my opinion.
