Dined here by myself on a rainy Saturday morning around 9am. Ordered food and coffee - both were pleasant. I wasn't particularly happy when I was asked to vacate my seat (I still wanted another coffee) as there were a couple for breakfast waiting for a table...

We go to Gnome most weekends. It's been one of the best finds we've found in Sydney. They take great care with their coffee, always great service and have very affordable, delicious food options!! Definitely worth a breakfast visit!

Recently relocated and trying to find new local favourites. This little place serves great coffee and the staff are really friendly. Limited food menu. But everything I've eaten was fresh and tasty.

As a Surry Hills local, I popped in to Gnome this morning for a coffee. Given it's Surry Hills, I usually expect some level of fun loving sass but John who served me seemed to be in a particularly bad mood and ended up throwing my change across the counter towards me. Not in a fun loving manner at all.... More

Had a pleasant breakfast here with a family member recently. Great service, friendly and helpful. The food was good and was priced reasonably.

Consistent, great coffee. Friendly staff and tasty all day brunch menu! Also $3 for a long black is a bargain.

The Gnome is a great little spot, food was spot on... I ate there twice and would definitely recommend ! Good service and a changing specials board make it interesting for locals and regular business types

Small place, charming. Non expensive. They serve breakfast all day and have also salads. Ideal if you want to have some coffee or enjoy an everyday lunch

Cute lil hole in the wall that reflects the cashed-up, easygoing, dinky vibe of the Surry Hills neighbourhood. Food is nice, Good coffee and friendly service, happy to be back.
