This place is in a beautiful area but has really poor service. I seek out Hard Rocks all over the world and usually but a souvenir there but this place was out of everything. Including the hats. And the service was terrible

I love dining here for a casual dinner. Staff are always friendly and attentive I can't say I've ever had a bad experience here. Hard Rock is in a great area with nice views of Darling Harbour

First time visit to any Hard Rock Café, we thought we'd do it and see what all the fuss was. The place was great with all the memorabilia around. We sat out side with a view of the harbour which was nice. The food seemed overpriced but the views, atmosphere and size of the meals (burgers) made up for it.... More

We dropped by here for a quick drink on Saturday evening. I was aware that they have heaps of bookings and a busy evening ahead. That's why I asked the bartender if we are able to sit outside with our drinks (which we bought at the bar). He told me that we can sit anywhere we like. We proceeded to... More

Around the World in 80 Dinners took us to Darling Harbour and Hard Rock Cafe. Our group was due to start at 7pm but we decided to have pre-dinners drinks at HRC. From the moment of arrival, the staff were high energy and attentive to our needs. Once seated we were not swamped in having to order. The order process... More

Came here for the 2-for-1 cocktails so can't speak of the food. Bar staff were very friendly and energetic. The Long Island ice tea was great - very tangy and fresh - and at 2 for $18 you really can't complain. As the name suggests, there is rock music playing in the background so be prepared to listen to that... More

Standard issue Hard Rock. Big barn of a place inside with very little character and a fairly (very) cramped outside balcony that was the better seating option. Food was really nothing to get excited about but hey, it’s a winner with teenagers and sometimes that’s all you need.

Hi, Thank you for your time to share your experience with us. Feedback is crucial for us, it allows us always to do better on a daily basis. It is definitely a big venue, outside area is by far the most requested area when the weather is nice. Especially in this busy season that has started. At no point we... More

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
