Nice cafe open late which is great for a late night coffee or tea with friends. Food and drink usually ok but the staff there are sometimes rude. Went there tonight and had my usual decade coffee and some late night toast. My friend ordered English breakfast tea and somehow the Irish waitress managed to mess it up. Ok fairs... More

A lot of people think of This cafe as an iconic stop for Newtown urban lifestyle ..rather relaxed, bohemian Unfortunately today I was proven the opposite . I stopped by for breakfast this morning. ( Monday 2nd January 2017) with a friend of mine . Just walking distance from home , you just expect to relax with a cup of... More

I don't think this place will win any awards for decor. It looked a bit warn inside and out but offered a more peaceful setting than most of the other cafes in Newtown, and did a great pot of tea. 2mins walk from the train station.

Was my local cafe from 1999 to 2010. Amazing breakfasts. Yummy desserts & generous serves for main meals. Very trendy & retro. Sat here for ages just watching the world go by.

This place is excellent. The service is attentive and warm. The barista sees me coming down the street and has my coffee ready for me when I arrive. The menu looks inviting and homey and the food is wholesome and flavoursome. Recommended cafe in the area.

The smoothies are really good and big! Coffees not great tho. The give is great, the place is little, and cosy. The staff always very very smiley and nice. It's got indoor and outdoor tables. The food is also very good.

Corelli's is an institution in Newtown - named after the famous Venitian Composer Anchangelo Corelli (if you have not heard his music - seek it out - in the same vane as Vivaldi). They do a great coffee (not the rubbish you get at some chain coffee shops), and teas. The muffins are freshly made and HUGE ( a meal... More

We stopped here on our way through Newtown for breakfast. It is an older building in Newtown, lots of character, a little messy but comfortable. We ordered the breakfast tortilla and the Bacon and Eggs. The portions were an excellent size (only just finished!), and good value for money, not to mention absolutely delicious. Service was friendly, although we did... More

Service quick, coffee good, food ok, had eggs benedict, way overpriced. Look elsewhere in Newtown for better value.
