I appreciate fine dining, and have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants including The Fat Duck, in Brae. I have also eaten at restaurants in Sydney such as Tetsuya's and I am extremely disappointed with Sepia. Back in 2015 I wanted to book the restaurant when...More

I have been to Sepia several times, the most recent for my birthday in April. The food is outrageously good, the service fantastic, the wine list broad and the atmosphere lovely when you are in a booth. We had a degustation accompanied by a champagne...More

Everything about this place is amazing from the moment you walk in the door. You could be anywhere in the world but you know it's Australia as soon as you taste the oysters! Quiet and understated but very elegant, just like the food - in...More

My son chose Sepia for his 21st and he couldn't have chosen a better venue. It was amazing in every way

If after 9 months we still remember most of the degustation menu, as well as floor staff warm and professional interaction, it is because the more than well deserve the fame that have achieved

Dinner at Sepia was extraordinary and we are delighted they are planning to relocate to Melbourne, albeit in a different incarnation. Dishes were visually sumptuous, often surprising and texturally fascinating with excellent balance. The tuna 'ravioli' stuffed with a raw egg yolk was sublime. We...More

This is it! Rated amongst the Top 100 Restaurants in the World, Sepia lived up to its deserved ranking. Every moment was an experience, every taste was an explosion of pleasure! Words alone cannot capture the divine roller coaster of flavours, the artistry of presentation...More

We booked Sepia for the first night of our trip to Sydney having read some fantastic reviews about it. We had chosen to have the 9 course tasting menu. Food was absolutely fantastic and well presented. Drink prices are extremely high however we expected this...More

Food and wait staff service was fine. Non-existent customer service from co-owner was not. I would strongly recommend avoiding Sepia based on this - as several condescending remarks were made to us as paying customers. Have tried to resolve directly with Sepia but have yet...More

The food was amazing, Martin's cooking gets better and better. We come here a few times a year and the flavours get better and better. The scampi grilled on charcoal was the highlight.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

I wouldn't say this place is kid friendly. There are no high chairs and the food is catered for an adult. Plus it would ruin the experience for someone who wants to enjoy their luxurious dinner.
