Five of us shared a banquet. It wasn’t bad food by any means, just not overly memorable. The entrées were better than ok. The mains average and good sized, but nothing worth writing about. The desert was poor, the size of a golf ball. The...tariff, even considering we had a $40 bottle of wine, was exorbitant.More

Loved the friendly staff. Tandoori mushrooms were a real treat for entree. Butter Chicken, Beef Vindaloo, Safron Rice and Garlic Naans. A real treat and food was served very quickly and to a great standard. Highly recommend.

I was Visiting Canberra for the marathon on this weekend and read the reviews for this restaurant which seemed good. The meal took a long time to arrive, food was ok and service was the bare minimum. No apologies from staff regarding the wait time...of meals. Deliveries seemed to take priority over dining customers. I would not recommend this restaurant.More

We’re big fans of Indian food and our good friends were keen to show off their favourite ‘local’, an easy walk around the corner from their home. The food was absolutely delicious, with a big gold star going to the Bollywood Leg of Lamb. All...the dishes we tried were outstanding and the service was excellent. The only (minor) whinge was that, even though it was a cool autumn (almost winter) evening, the heat was turned up waaaay too high and it wasn’t just the spices that made us perspire our way through the evening!More

The staff were lovely and very friendly, the food was some of the best I've had recently - highly recommend the Samosa Chaat, which was just delicious and crunchy and saucy in all the right ways. The Gourmet Naan was also deliciously interesting. Nice tweaks...on traditional dishes,.More

Had a take away on Friday night and it was awful. The food was cold and not very spicy. The naan bread was the smallest serve I’ve ever experienced. The rice was great! I won’t be back though.

Very good meal but social distancing a problem. The staff don’t seem to realise that tables should be separated and there was the capacity to distance tables but when more people arrived the staff sat them close to other full tables even though there were...tables further away that were vacant. Clean toilets but no soap for washing hands not good! Staff friendly and food very good. I could recommend the roast lamb curry and samosas. I will return but hope they have decided to put soap in the bathroom.More

Was looking forward to again dining in this restaurant which I patronised when it was in Dickson for many years during visits to Canberra on business. We like spicy food however our dishes lacked the balance and subtly which charaterised the cuisine at Dickson. Wish...Bollywood Masala the best and that it regains its good Indian foodMore

This local Indian restaurant hidden in the Kingston shops is a gem. All the food was good but the Malabari prawns and the leg of lamb were stand-outs. The dinner banquet was good value and served promptly. The staff were knowledgeable about gluten free and...very helpful throughout the night. They also do take away if you are just passing through. Give this place a go.More
