Restaurant is famous for his own brewery and craft beer in Kvasy. The taste of food we didn’t like, some dishes too fat. Safety choice grilled trout. The beer was good. Service would be OK, if waiters would speak language which you understand, at least...proper Ukrainian. No chance to be understood in English or Russian.More

The Carpathians is a magic. When I first came to rest in the village of Kvasy, I fell in love with this beutiful place forever. The magnificent nature and clean mountain air will not leave anyone indifferent. Having seen the restaurant "Gagarin and Bokorash" on...the main street, I could not pass by such a colorful institution. The building itself, as well as its interior decoration is made in the best Hutsul traditions. The kitchen deserved special praise. I was lucky to try such national dishes as bograch, chplyak, kremzliki, Hutsul steak here. Everything was very tasty cooked. I really liked the "Tsipa" beer brewed at the local brewery. True gourmets of this drink will be pleasantly surprised by a wide variety of varieties. In the village live kind, pleasant people. I hope I will come to the Carpathians more then once. I recommend everyone visiting this area to visit this wonderful restaurant. Good luck and good mood.More

Well, I was very impressed to see such a restaurant in a village! It is quite uncommon for Ukraine. Moreover, there is a concept for a restaurant with a thought through design. Quite amazing! The food quality was pretty high as well, maybe it was...a bit too greasy as per my taste, but this is how local cuisine is. I would definitely recommend having Zakarpattya Borshch, chicken shashlyk and banosh. The only disadvantage for foreigners is that they do not have English menu.More

Cute village and unexpectedly nice cafe there, very far from any major cities. While i wasn't amazed by food, Tsypa beer is 100% great! Get a few bottles on board) Well done for this idea.

“Gagarin ta Bokorash” is the restaurant close to Tsypa brewery and located in Kvasy village, Zakarpattya region where you can taste different samples of Zakarpattya food. I’d like to mention that some dishes are absolutely different in comparison with other regions of Ukraine. Zakarpattya cuisine...is famous for its dishes with mushrooms. That’s why I recommend to order them. But the service is too slow, the restaurant is not ready for large groups of tourists having dinner at the same place. It’s a strange situation when you ordered soup and should wait an hour to eat. The soup is average, nothing special but after waiting for an hour it was at least something eatable. ‘Gagarin and Bokorash’ is the restaurant with very strange title especially after taking into account that Gagarin is the first Soviet cosmonaut making the first space trip and Bokorash is the traditional name for the worker who cuts the trees in the Carpathian mountains and by river flow transports them to village. And people say that Gagarin liked to stay in this Carpathian village under fake name and made friends with bokorash, helping him with his work. If it is a legend or truth –nobody knows but the restaurant was named in honour of this friendship of worldwide known spaceman and a worker.More

Incredibly tasty traditional Gutsul cuisine accompanied by their craft beer with local tweaks are making this restaurant located pretty far from popular touristic/skiing locations worth coming

It's totally worth to go and eat there. We had eaten dome kind of grilled pork and traditional salads. There are nice and elegant service. When you are in Kvasy go to this place. You can also walk by the river, it's beautiful.

Visited this restaurant with my family. Food was good. Service was fast enough. I would definitely recommend this place for dinner. We paid with card, I didn't have small money to give tips, but I was rejected by administrator when asked to exchange money to...smaller banknotes - it was not good since I wasn't able to give tipsMore

A friend recommended Gagarin Ta Bokorash. Everything he said about the place was correct. The Czech Ribs were tasty and the Hutsul salad was also very good. My wife enjoyed a dish called Smazhenitsia. It was beef topped with cabbage along with a nice sauce....The dining room on the second floor is colorful and offers nice views. Plus, you can take a photo with a life-size Yuri Gagarin and his rafting buddy Bokorash. This oasis is the best place to stop on the way to Rakhiv.More
