Chef, Marcos Tavío's painstaking research into the ingredients and preparation of the food of the original inhabitants of the Canaries has given him the grounds for this culinary trip into the past. Just go with the flow, the tasting menu is exquisite and will please the most demanding of palates. The service is exemplary and the Chef's personal explanations of each dish a delight and very informative.
The view over the amazingly blue waters and the natural swimming pools are worth the visit.
This is a very small restaurant (5 tables) so you will need to reserve and be punctual.

Extraordinary good and innovative food, well composed dishes, go for the Experience 60€ per person. The venue is amazing and staff well informed, caring and professional. After lunch go down to the natural baths and dive into the sea!

There are places and people who combine to deliver a truly unique experience. Something that goes beyond the mere act of eating. It is tasting culture, savoring ancient rituals, sensing earthly passion. I had read about this peculiar innovative restaurant. I went alone. I love eating by myself. It allows you to intimately feel. I don't like cooking but I love eating. The place is located in a breathtaking setting facing the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The staff was very nice and attentive. And the food a completely revolution of my taste buds. I tasted my first GOFIO and felt like a virgin! I watched the chef Marcos Tavio preparing offering and presenting its creations, born from a cultural, artesanal research. It's not simply food. It is love on a plate. I spent my last day on the Isla con un alma treating my mouth, my eyes, my soul to an unforgettable culinary trip. Not for everyone. But surely for me. Gracias.

We came here for lunch on spec not knowing anything about the place.
To start with the waitress was pleasant but as we asked questions about the hard to understand menu she became very obtuse when we explained two of our party were vegan even saying that the corgette soup would take too long to cook! Eventually the chef came out to speak to us and we agreed a menu to our liking. The first course of green veg with beetroot while very tasty was hardly worth the €40 charge and I was particularly upset when the waitress tipped the remaining sauce all over my lap when removing the plate when I protested she just shrugged!!
Overall the lunch was over priced at €170 for 4 people with no wine. I would not eat here again.

The restaurant is a stylish place with good views out to the sea. The service is outwardly friendly, but essentially pushy. Our order was obviously not fulfilling expectations, so the waiter tried hard to motivate us to expand our order.
The food was more stylish than high quality cooking. So we were definitely disappointed with this place, especially as it is a high-price affair which did not fulfill our expectations.

We had made the Reservation since April as a special gift. The chef promised to make a menu for me son, as he assured us that he would not eat the tasting menu. Come dinner time, he called us to tell us that we should pay for the tasting menu for the minor or cancel the Reservation... We obviously canceled. I've never seen professionalism and lack of commitment. Having to quickly arrange another gift, as he warned us without time.

with its splendid location and the big windows out to the seaside, this place has few tables inside and some more on the terrace to offer a great meal. opening at 1.30 PM for lunch, we came right in time to get a nice table. after a week of fish, we opted for meat and chose the Goat dish as main. It was excellent. Also the starters were very good. a really excellent lunch on a beautiful location.

An unforgettable experience. The combination of island history and cuisine is super accurate. Very rich dishes and portions for a tasting menu are great. Very good advised wines too. Everything is cooked in front of you and the 8 diners sit around on a very comfortable bar. The combination of dishes and music make it a great experience. Essential if you travel to the Iron.

I understand the situation but I don't have to pay for other people's lack of seriousness.
I had a reservation for my birthday celebration, and I did it because it seemed like a great place for it, but what I didn't count on was the lack of seriousness on the part of the establishment, when nowadays there are mechanisms such as prior payment or a simple confirmation email with a message in which they warn that confirmation is required on the same day.

Muchas gracias por una reseña con la que nos ayuda a mejorar pero sobre todo nos sirve para informar a futuros clientes de que se debe estar atento a las confirmaciones de reservas ya que para nosotros 2 comensales más o menos, supone el 25% de nuestra facturación ese dia. Pero sobre todo, al ser un restaurante de menú degustación, tenemos que tirar la comida que hemos preparado a la basura y eso en cualquier parte con los tiempos que corren, duele mucho.
Solo atendemos 8 comensales y de ahí que confirmemos las reservas hechas por los Clientes en varias ocasiones. Como usted bien dice, el “relax de la isla” lleva en ocasiones, a no darle la importancia que tiene una reserva para la Economía de nuestros negocios. We went as a group of seven people for dinner. It is the third time we have gone to this restaurant. If you want to find something totally different from what you know you have to go. They give reservations for Max 8 people in a kind of low bar and you have the privilege of being able to see how the chef prepares and explains the dishes. Friendly service and incredible food. Extraordinary creativity and attention to guests. The menu, which is established by the chef, was adapted according to the requests we made when booking (preference for meat rather than seafood).
