What a lovely atmosphere this pub has the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly there was a lovely coal fire lighting that added to the atmosphere would defiantly return for lunch or dinner

Drove a half hour to sample the food as heard was really good. Had the curry which I had to return as it was cold, felt the service wasn't great. Lovely pints of Beamish and good food. Good mix of locals and of some Dublin people who have crossed the border over.

Good reviews and a you should visit/try this place by some friends led us here on a rainy night - we were a bit disappointed with the food which struggled to live up to the detail on a fairly extensive menu. Went for Sunday lunch with family last week and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. Great selection and desserts were amazing especially the kit Kat cheesecake! Friendly and efficient service, we will all be back

The restaurant was very busy and our waiters were top notch. Drinks were filled and replaced with ease, changes for the kids were no problem and generally the place itself is very nice. All in all the food was very good but my steak came out cold but they had no problem reheating it every one else enjoyed there starters immensely and there main courses we had no room for desert but they looked lovely. Staff where very friendly
