Stopped here for Sunday lunch with the family as was passing through the area. What a lovely little pub, so glad we stopped by. The food was really tasty; we had the Sunday roasts, all the meat was really succulent and nicely presented. We're glad...More

We had lunch today at a time when the pub was inundated by a series of young people, eventually over 20 of them. We were sitting in their midst, feeling very much in the way, when the lady in charge of the bar suggested we...More

We booked the new informal Christmas buffet for 12 to celebrate a birthday and it was really excellent. Hot filled turkey rolls filled with stuffing and thick white slices of meat and gravy boats to dip, platters of pheasant and cranberry sausage rolls in light...More

Visited for an evening meal between separate afternoon and evening visits at nearby Compton Verney House. It was a cold, grey, damp day, so arriving to find a blazing open log fire was especially welcome. Found the menu was both varied and interesting, and catered...More

Had a couple of pints here with local friends. Stayed longer. Beer was great, food, very good for a local pub. Staff super friendly!! Highly recommended.

The chicken burgers ordered, we both had to checked because we thought was pork, hand cut chips were frozen fries, we were not told this, salad dosed with dressing which was not required. A lovely smile when I asked for discount. Local pub, very disappointed.

Swift and pleasant service, a great choice of sandwiches with either chips or soup and some good beers. Particularly recommended is the Cumberland sausage and blue cheese sandwich! Very nice today as this was the first lunch of the autumn sat around an open fire!

We often choose the Antelope when friends come to visit as it really has something for everyone. It was the Saturday of the bank holiday when we visited and unsurprisingly the pub was very busy - luckily we had booked. Drinks were swiftly served and...More

Probably best to give them a call as I know they do excellent Sunday lunches but not sure if they serve food into the evening
