we have been to this excellent cafe many times over several years. Whenever we go to St Just we always make a point of going for both the excellent food/coffee and the great range of books.

We visited the Cook Book three times on our recent holiday to St Just. They make an excellent cup of tea using tea grown in England. We enjoyed a full English breakfast on two occasions and on the third visit we had a cream tea....More

Very novel idea of second hand books for sale and teas cofees and light lunches. Good selection of soups and breads. Read/ browse while you eat.!

We popped in for lunch after a recommendation for the cheese & scones. We shared both the cheese & scones and the cream tea between two. I have to say the good was divine and there was plenty of it. Very good value for money....More

Excellent place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, light snacks and luschious cream teas! Absolutely stacks of second hand books at really good prices. a visit to The Cook Book is a must.

Feed the body and the mind at The Cook Book St. Just, a child and dog friendly cafe in the heart of Poldark country. Situated 'at the end of the world' in the lovely village of St. Just - one of the few places where you can still find Free Parking! Popular for its home-made cakes, pies and scones visitors return time and time again for our Breakfasts, Cream Teas, Cakes and Seasonal Menus. Why not order a Picnic in advance of your walk using our online store? We also provide Holiday Hampers using our own Farm produce and favourite Cornish suppliers such at Tregothnan Tea, Origin Coffee, Polgoon Drinks, Baker Tom bread and McFaddens famous pastys. Order online or email us. The Cook Book is available for private hire, and we often have visiting and local artists exhibiting. Outside catering can be arranged for weddings, birthdays and special occasions and all ordered through our website. Opening Times 9-4 - Seven days a week 9-5 - Seven days a week in July & August 9-4 - Mon to Fri, 9-3 Sat & Sun, Nov to March ​ We stop serving hot food one hour before we close.
