Went this evening with my wife having dropped our daughter off at a friend's party. Lovely welcome from the pub dog. Equally warm welcome at the bar despite not being locals/regulars. Food was very good - I had home made soup and we both had...More

Excellent food!! Really sweet pub, dog friendly with a very cute garden. The avocado and chicken salad was especially good, the service was lovely and we had a very enjoyable lunch.

The George is a very friendly pub with very good scampi and minute steak. Amazing banoffe pie plus the best Harvey's and other beers.

Just back from a delicious Sunday lunch at the George, great service, good chicken roast and lovely fresh veg. V happy customer and glad I went back. Proper pub, and the most laid back pub dog ever, good to see Fletch again.
