We spent an enjoyable day at the inn during the Six Nations rugby. A great pint of Butty and between matches the Inn provided free chilli, curry and chips, which was really really good and a perfect half time treat. We also had dinner there - rib eye, which was a perfectly cooked piece of local Hereford beef, followed by... More
We have had a few days staying at a local very good B&B,so needed an evening meal and decided to try this lovely pub as it was near our "digs". We haven't been disappointed. The pub itself has a warm ambience, typically old world and cosy and to add to this comfy enviroment is the landlady,She is just such a warm... More
Dear Carol, Thank you so much for your kind review. We're delighted you enjoyed your visits to the pub and liked her as much as we do. I'm also really chuffed you had such nice things to say about myself, I'm blushing :) I'll let Tam know you enjoyed her pudding, I have to agree, it is fabulous! Her treacle... More
We spent three nights at the adjacent but separately-run Pandy Inn B&B and after finishing here the first night decides to do so on the second and third as well. The pub may be cosy, friendly and very much local, but the kitchen is up there with the best of them. Superb steaks, a Beetroot, Horseradish and Goat's Cheese pie... More
Dear Paul, Happy New Year to you and your wife! Many thanks for your kind review, it's good to hear you enjoyed yourself during your recent visit and that you enjoyed what we had to offer. Hopefully you'll be back this way again in the future when it will be a bit warmer! Kind regards, Lisa and the Pandy team More
Four of us ate in the Pandy Inn. The chicken, leek & asparagus in a cream sauce with mash & veg was lovely and just like eating at home as opposed to "all dunked in a fat fryer" pub food. My brother said his scampi and salad was delicious, the best he has had. 2 people had the venison pie... More
Dear Sharon, Many thanks for your kind review. It's good to hear you all enjoyed your meals and the wood burner! We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards, Lisa and the Pandy team More
Visited twice while on holiday recently, it came recommended and we were not disappointed. The food was lovely, service friendly and quick. This is a lovely pub and you can easily see how good the food is by them amount of people eating there. It has a friendly atmosphere and there are lots of lovely touches with the decor.
Dear Simples40, Many thanks for your kind review. I'm pleased you enjoyed your meals and the pub. I'm chuffed you liked the decor as it's something we've been working on and continue to add to. Hopefully you'll visit this part of the UK again soon and pop in to say hello. Kind regards, Lisa and the Pandy team More
Unfortunately, the night we arrived for a meal - the inn was not serving food due to an Autumn auction? I am so pleased that the pub seemed to be doing enough business to turn away custom and not put the auction back to a little later in the evening. We happened to be staying in the accommodation behind which... More
Dear Vicky, Thank you for your kind review, even though you weren't able to eat with us. The auction was a fund raising event that happens once a year and this is one of the events we are happy to have been able to carry on hosting. We chose to close for food as it would have greatly interfered with... More
Myself, two friends and she who must be obeyed returned to The Pandy for another meal, following on from previous visits. I have to say the standard of cooking, presentation and service received never falls below excellent. The staff are tentative and friendly, even though they have to put up with Keith! So, if you are off out anywhere near... More
Dear Kevin, Both myself, James and Nick are delighted you have had another good visit to the pub. Re Keith: Poor Nick is possibly in need of some type of therapy but we'll get through this together. You never know, one day we may put rice pudding on the menu... Kind regards and hopefully see you all again soon. Lisa... More
The Pandy Inn is a very old but well functioning country pub in stunning setting. The food is rustic and delicious, interior with solid wooden furniture and homely decor.
Dear sabwink, Thank you for your kind review of The Pandy Inn. I'm pleased you enjoyed the food we offer and I agree with your description of the the village and countryside, we think it's beautiful too. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards, Lisa and the Pandy team More

Hi in response to my review of the sunday lunch being a small portion. I cannot say that meat, two small roast potatoes and a small ramekin of vegetables is a large portion. If this is not normally the case then the only suggestion I can make is you got the adults and the childrens meals mixed up. The childrens meals were extremely large
