Best burgers cool vibe free WiFi coffee and tattoos. Great spot to get some work done whilst enjoying a good value meal. In the heart of Observatory. Hipster chic.

You can't go wrong with Hello Sailor In Observatory Cape Town for good food at good prices. We had cheeseburgers with chips which were delicious while we watched the funky people of Obz make their way down Lower Main Road. Very chilled.

Very down to earth place in one of the nicest streets in Cape Town. They have excellent wines and beers, cheap G&T's and the menu is suitable for all. The coffee is very good here. I would highly recommend eating here.

Small and rustic little restaurant with heaps of character and equally good service. We decided to have breakfast at the spur of the moment but decided to go and see what our old haunts looked like after 20 years. Observatory /Woodstock still have such a wonderful bohemian vibe and I felt as much at home as years ago. We walked... More

Food took far too long to arrive (In an almost empty restaurant) French toast was oozing raw egg... "Oh sorry about that.." does not cut it. At last one of the meals should have been scrapped from the bill

The cheesecake is still some of the best I have ever tasted and the French trucker sandwich is still a winner. Service is top notch and the varying board of specials is always a treat.

Busy place with really friendly staff, serving good food and a wide range of beers. Obs is a bohemian district with a variety of people and street life.

The disco fries are pretty good, and they have a fair selection of craft beer. Service was ok, not the easiest to get the waitron's attention which was a bit odd as it's not a big shop and they were not busy.

When my friend insisted that we meet here for cheesecake I thought he had lost his mind. Parking in Obs is a nightmare...was this really worth the hassle. Well it was. As an avid baker I am often disappointed when I order cake, but this time I was very pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately the service they provide lets them down. We... More
