Evergreen is the best cafe in kosal. Totally agree with @2006zeus. Ambience and location is perfect. Food is also great. Loved hummus.

Location and Ambience: It is located near the Kasol market and can be located easily. This place has a nice ambience, the staff (I felt) was good but a bit untrained. You may feel a delay in service here. It has got outdoor seating as...well. As Kasol is also known as Mini Israel, you can find Israeli Cuisine here easily. My order: ▪️Veg Mix Plate (Falafel, veg nuggets, potato cheese balls, veg finger chips, salad, hummus) ▪️A pizza (don't remember the name, as I asked them to bring the best pizza of the café) Food Review: Veg Mix Plate: Some of the dishes were straight from the freezer. You know...the McCain's. The pizza, sadly, was a disappointment. Rating: ▪️Ambience: 4/5 ▪️Food: 2.5/5 Bottom Line: I went there, I tried it and I felt that it's a bit overrated (the food specially).More
Food was freshly prepared and served, lsraeli cuisine, meditarenean cuisine was also available. The seating was also spacious and offered view of the Valley
I popped into the Evergreen one evening, in search of good food and a warm place to relax - I was not disappointed! The Evergreen has excellent, hearty meals in a range of cuisines. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a Cozy room...with a wood fire to relax in the evening, or a deck to sit in the sun in the mornings. Very highly recommend, for any meal!More
Loved the ambience. Best in the kasol market. Staff is helpful , only issue faced is parking area is not available.
In shot I would say this place can just revive your taste buds. Everything is super delicious. Be it there pan cakes , sandwiches , pasta
The greeting way/ code of conduct is so discriminative which we enter as a solo traveler who enter to this café. They only give priority to the customers who's in group and Foreigner's. I had charged a lot more than the menu. Being a Hotelier,...I only have to appreciate the welcome/ Involvement of the manager to the other crowd. For that's only my two star's review. Quality of food is just like a crappy instant junk. One of the worst experience in my travel.More
I liked this place the most among other alternatives. Nice ambience, good service, varity israeli cuisine in midst of Kasol.
The more I talk about Kasol, the more I want to go back to this place. Its ever so serene and scenic landscape, the vibe and the people around can never get out of our head! But this review is not for Kasol(maybe someday later)...but a cafe situated in the heart of the hills - The Evergreen Cafe. Food - We ordered veg falafal roll, french fries(complimentary), veg pizza and omelette(we were really craving for one). I would not say the pizza, french fries and the omelette were the best(we have had some amazing pizzas and omelettes in the past and ofcourse we recently tried burger singh's french fries and are in awe!), however(extra emphasis), the falafal roll is something to talk about. First, it was huge. Second, it reminded us of the falafal rolls we had in Tripoli(Oh in case we did not mention, we were born and brought up in Tripoli, Libya :)). We can definitely give the food here a noble 3/5. Ambience : This is the star of the cafe. The ambience is unparalleled. The hills surrounding the cafe blanket it from the hustle bustle of the city and the people in here gave it an extra vibe, an extra sparkle. The cafe kept shining like a north start amongst the ocean of cafes around it during the night sky(simile). We wouldn't mind giving a rating of 5/5 for ambience. Paise isi ke hain bhai! Service : Once again, we can't complain for a delayed service when the place is jampacked. A decent 3/5 from our end Overall rating : 3.6/5More
