we had the gustation which is a seven course dinner. each portion appears small to start with but believe me you will be well fed by the end of it. It is italien quisine at it's best, the service is very attentive and professional, and it's a great venue.

Thanks to the team at Poderi Crisci for the best degustation experience ever. We went with a family group of 11, including a couple of dietary challenges, which they handled with ease. The service was faultless, friendly without compromising standards and the food was Michelin Star quality. We have dined in some fine restaurants around the world including Jamie Oliver's... More

My wife and I were first timers whilst the other 4 in our party had been before so the expectations set were high. Sadly it didn't quite hit the top level but a nice feed all the same. But don't expect a cheap lunch that's for sure as we blew $375 per couple as the wine is pretty steep, nice... More

Our family had an intimate, amazing militia course prefix dinner on a Friday night at this vineyard. Well worth the car or taxi ride to get there. We were seated at a lovely farmhouse table adjacent to the kitchen. Pros: We felt like we were part of their family. Cons: We did not appreciate the whirling noise of the sous... More

Great "Long lunch" experience. A list of 6 courses is presented to you and brought out over a few hours. The food is very good, Italian style made from produce from their locally grown garden. Positives - the Olive oil and bread, the wine (Chardonnay was very good), cannaloni and lamb dish. The waiters were also very good and friendly.... More

This review is for visitors to Waiheke as all the islanders will know this already. So visitors - if your looking for a winery with a real point of difference, this has you covered. An interesting drive to rural vistas, a cute little family run winery, and amazing food (and wines). This winery is almost as much about the food... More

We drove out to this winery to try some wines only to find the advertised cellar door wasn't yet up and running. We were however delighted with the setting so when invited to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine we thought why not! I was torn between two wines on the menu and asked if I could have... More

Amazing lunch at Poderi Crisci......fabulous food and really great service. Everything we ate was superb- from the contorni we shared with the mushrooms, peppers and pumpkin to the exceptional eggplant parmigiana and on to the beautiful terakihi and beef. The wines we had were great too as well as the setting which made us feel like we were right back... More

Description
WelcomePoderi Crisci Vineyard and Winery, set in a stunning amphitheatre surrounded by vines and olive trees, has fast become the quintessence of what in Italy is called: Agroturismo. Located 30 minutes from Matiatia in Awaawaroa Bay, Poderi Crisci occupies 7.7 hectares of north-facing slopes in the heart of Waiheke’s unique wine growing microclimate. The narrow rocky strip underlying Poderi Crisci is believed to be 30 million years older than the rest of the Island, boasting soil criss-crossed with mineralised veins. For four generations the Crisci family has been immersed in food and wine, Antonio born and raised in Napoli came to NZ in early 1990 and established Toto Restaurant in Nelson Street . With his partner Vivienne Farnell they opened Non Solo Pizza, an institution in Parnell in 1997 and Bar Vino in 2009.
