Had lunch here on Tuesday with my Mother. It is part of the farm and as my Mother is quite disabled it's great that there are disabled spaces outside the cafe and farm shop and a proper disabled access toilet. We only had a light lunch but my Mother had the home made pate which came with a lovely dressed... More

Expensive and not very special. One buttered tea cake and macaroon with a pot of tea for two was over £8.00

A favourite place for breakfast or lunch. Relaxed atmosphere with almost zero food miles. Generous portions of high quality produce which is also available to buy in the farm shop. Looking forward to trying their themed evenings!

Booked in for dinner last Saturday just for a change. It was very quiet and we hoped we had not made the wrong choice. But how refreshing really nice home cooked food even the pies were not shop-bought they had sides and a base not just a cap of pastry. Fresh vegetables and even gravy that match the dish. Soup... Beautiful place to go and eat. Don't let the main road put you off. You don't notice it once you are there. Lovely food, big portions. The calves were beautiful.

Lovely food and local meats, cheeses etc used in the recipes. Big good portion-sized breakfasts and everything has taste. Lovely choice from the menu at any time of the day. Good value for the quality of the food.

We noticed the Eccles cake and shortbread biscuit we chose to accompany coffee can also be purchased in shop opposite. Most of the bakery items are bought in which is disappointing as expectation is they are freshly made on premises. The shop is expensive but very high quality so well worth a visit. The milk and cream produced are sublime.
