Fish special, burger, chicken in sauce and pasta all tasty and generous portions. Addams nice as usual. Minor things were a sticky table and menu would benefit from some lighter options. Puds were nice if a little pricy.

We were lucky to secure a place on the monthly quiz during our weekend away in Woolpit. Supper was lovely - wonderful Shepard's pie! Great and welcoming atmosphere. Publicans and staff very friendly. Really wonderful pub! Would recommend to anybody. We hope to be back at another time!

We all met at The Swan for wonderful family reunion, as usual our favourite place in Suffolk did not disappoint. We shared starters, crispy prawns, crab cakes, pan-seared halloumi with pickled chillies and The Best gravadlax and then we ate sea-bass, lamb burgers a wonderful slow cooked chicken dish, I forget the name and my sister ate a fabulous filled... We decided on The Swan for a meal to mark an anniversary, and it didn't disappoint. Classy without being pretentious. With great service from friendly, efficient staff, a lovely cosy atmosphere, and wonderful reasonably-priced food, this place nails it in a way other local establishments could learn a thing or two from. If you've never been, you must try it.

We come here regularly for both dinner and lunch, or sometimes just dessert, it's our favourite place to eat! The food has never been short of delicious and the staff are great. There's also always a fire going in the colder months. They have recently removed the chalkboard menus and opted for regular printed menus and your order is now... More

Brilliant. Service, food, atmosphere were all first class and we left delighted. The Swan is simply lovely but entirely unpretentious. Lamb burgers followed by Raspberry Charlotte, very reasonably priced and both superb.

I dropped by for lunch after a lengthy absence and was not disappointed. While still retaining its old world charm the new decor has given it a fresh sparkle and the blazing log fire adds to the warm welcome. A great improvement is the blackboards replaced by printed menus with a range of dishes to suit all tastes. I had roasted... More

Great service, great food. Loved malbec🍷, salmon starter and chicken especially. Sit by the fire on a cold evening if you can!

Found the service not to be that great. A plastic A4 sign on the wall instructed customers to order food at the bar. I found this peculiar. The establishment has a handful of tables yet you are expected to make your way to the bar and order your food, like a Weatherspoons outfit. We were a couple so it was... More
