Ate there yesterday. Food was very good and presented well. Not five stars only because it is priced above the general price level in Puerto Morelos. The two of us had Caesar salad, corn chowder, shrimp crab cakes and duck enchiladas. No drinks. Total bill 750 pesos. Recommend prior reservations as the inside space somewhat small--a few outside tables.

This is a clean, well equipped and decorated restaurant with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The service was good and the food was tasty. I feel it was a little overpriced- try their brownies- really good!

Probably the best meal of our stay. Definitely a step above from other restaurants in PM. Fresh catch of Amberjack was flavorful and the NY steak was equally good. A nice meal, good job!

We were staying about 5 miles away from John Grays at an all inclusive but needed to get out and about didn't fancy the trek to Cancun, thanks to a local contact we headed for John Grays Kitchen. We weren't disappointed, the very helpful staff moved a table and chairs outside to accommodate us on arrival and lavished attention (though... More

We went twice, both times to make sure we had their tuna tostitos. The owner, Dora, made us feel welcomed and answered all our questions. She also made a very tasty egg nog cheese cake. Both nights I had their fish special and both times was delighted with my meal.

We went to John Gray's for the final dinner of our week stay in Puerto Morelos with family. The dinner was great in every way. The patio dining with the fountain provides a lovely atmosphere. We had an age range from grandparents to 8 and 11 year old grandsons and everyone was happy with their meals. Brownies capped off the... More

We ate our Christmas dinner at John Gray's. It was delicious. It was a special menu for Christmas, and all loved their dishes. Cocktails and wine were also good. It was a festive evening. Wait staff were great.

I'll give John Gray's Kitchen a generous 3 stars, but for the record, there is no restaurant in Puerto Morelos that merits more than 3 stars. The rating is for some very flavorful appetizers and sauces (the Tuna Tostada was oversauced but delicious), and for the owner Dora, who works hard to make sure every patron has a good experience....
