De visita otra vez a mi lugar favorito en puerto morelos. It has everything drinks, good and deserts. But abovedada all the great attentions and time spend here have no equilibrio.

We ate here this evening, primarily based on TripAdvisor recommendations that this is one of the best restaurants in town. The food was great. Very well presented on plate, as you would expect in a better restaurant in USA, Canada, Europe, etc. I had the daily catch special -- grouper -- very nicely done in a chili rub with sauces... More

We just returned from a 2 week vacation in Puerto Morelos. John Gray's was just as spectacular as was our visit last April. We ate there twice had 2 appetizers...the tuna and the mussels, along with delicious garlic bread. Everything was outstanding!

We visited during our recent trip to Puerto Morelos. We had the good fortune to dine at many great very reasonably priced establishments during our visit. John Grays was not one of them. The staff was very accommodating but the food was the worst we experienced and it was way over priced. I had a jumbo shrimp dish. Not good.

The decor is nice, the courtyard is charming, the staff are lovely BUT the food was terrible. I ordered two appetizers, the corn chowder and shrimp crab cakes. The soup was under seasoned, cold and filled with large pieces of raw red pepper. Very unappetizing. The crab shrimp cakes were burned on one side, greasy and tasted like they had... More

I can tell you these were some of the best cocktails in Puerto. The setting is a little cold (tiled floors and shiny furniture) so not romantic. But the food, and service were a step above and worth the extra price (still good by American standards)

The food is absolutely gourmet. We sat in the courtyard and it was just so quaint. Dora the owner is very welcoming and takes time to visit and explain the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. And save room for the Apple Pie.

Wonderful atmosphere. All our meals were delicious. I had the mac and cheese with prawns. It is made with truffle oil and is one of the most amazing dishes that I have eaten. Great evening. Would eat here again.

Thank Kathy R
