Every year we visit Puerto Morelos and it wouldn't be complete without a visit to El Pesquero. Wonder around the shops in town and then stop in for a great meal of fresh seafood or just a drink and good conversation. Till next year.......

The SHRIMP SOUP was unbelievable. Huge portion, incredibly tasty and I swear there was half a pound of plump shrimp in there! They start you off with a free appetizer, which is lovely: cucumber pieces in a vinagrette sauce, Mexican chips and refried beans for...More

An informal place with fresh and simply delicious seafood. We went twice and the fish was consistent both times. We ordered assorted appetizers and enjoyed the casual atmosphere. Ask the waiter to show you the fish. We will always stop at El Pesquero when visiting.

Service was good and seating is under a palapa with hard-pack sand, comfortable. Appetizer of calamari was breaded, not battered, and was good. Fish was thin filets of el dorado and tasty. A solid place for seafood eats.

We ate the fish of the day, which was grouper, and the seafood mixola and both were excellent. This is an authenic local restaurant with very reasonable prices. It is one of our favorites.

Its about 5 kilometers taking the shortest route by road, which kind of winds along the ocean. Taxis are pretty cheap and its in the heart of the city. Its worth the trip into town to see everything and eat local.

We are a tipical local seafood restaurant, worried about our friends satisfaction, thats why we only use the best quality products and ingredients. We offer a good variety of food: guacamole, shrimp quesadillas, fish fillet, ceviches and coctails, shrimps, lobster, conch and some house specialities. We also offer some drinks and coctails like margaritas, pina colada, daiquiris, cazuela with tequila, margachela (margarita with a beer), beers, sodas, fresh waters and some spirits and liquors.
