We were in Agonda from 7th to 13th Feb 2020. We almost daily visited Zest. Ambience is very good. Sitting arrangement is innovative and not particular restaurant type. Food is fresh, delicious and excellent. Waiters are smiling and quick. We were mostly served by a waiter named Ajay from Himachal, ever smiling and fully aware about all food items and their recipes. Most of the guests are foreign tourists. Must visit if you happen to be in Agonda.

Zest has become my favourite vegetarian restaurant in all my global travels. There has not been one meal that I did not feel not only grateful but joyful for, and I’ve become a regular there.
The vegetables and fruits used are fresh and flavourful. The dishes are creative, consistent and represent a true international flare. The visual presentations will make you smile and the cappuccinos will please any Italian. All served by the most delightful and caring staff.
What more could you ask for than a welcoming environment, food that dances in your mouth and nourishes your body?

Can’t recommend Zest enough, the food was amazing, we ate there near enough every day of our trip in Palolem sometimes all three meals. Trying lots of different things from the menu, and we never had a bad dish. The smoothie bowls, puttanesca pasta, raw lasagna, summer rolls and carrot cake were our personal favourites and well worth a try.
What was better than the food though, were the staff, they work extremely hard and are in there every day, each one of them makes a real effort to get to know you and make your experience and time there enjoyable! Even when the place is very busy they still manage to keep it relaxed. They are a credit to the company.
Thanks Deepak, Ardi and the rest of the team for looking after us! We hope to meet you all again.

I was there with a friend yesterday and ordered mango cake and strawberry cake to go. The staff took a lot of time to even respond, and then made us sit for fifteen minutes. Repeated reminders and fifteen minutes later, they finally admitted that strawberry cake was “unavailable”. Also, the floor was filthy: making us wonder why customers are forced to remove their footwear at all.
We have been visiting Zest for several years. Looking at yesterday’s staff behaviour, I believe that their self-importance has gone to their heads. Very disappointing indeed.

Hi,
I am really very sorry this happened to you on your visit to Zest! We have been so busy the last few weeks at the cafe that the waiting staff have struggled to keep up with orders. This is not an excuse and we have had a meeting together to try and improve on the quality of service during busy times. They are anything but arrogant and have always tried to give the best to customers.
If you are still in the area please let us give you a complementary cake to apologise for your bad experience!

We always eat at Zest when we visit Agonda. It’s always very popular, especially at breakfast time. They have such a great choice and is a lovely vegetarian restaurant. I’m not a vegetarian but always find lovely, delicious food here. The breakfasts are fantastic, they have great choices.
If I wanted to be highly critical I would say they always run out of advocado early but they also explained they only buy when it is ripe so won’t serve it otherwise.
They make wonderful smoothies, juices and in the evening lovely cocktails.
The staff are amazing, friendly and very helpful.
It’s not the cheapest place in Agonda but this place has managed to corner the market in great, vegetarian food with a lovely atmosphere.

I am neither vegan nor gluten free but both options were available.
Professional yet friendly staff service.
Small wait on the food (because the place is PACKED) the food is however well worth it. Get there early to avoid disappointment.
Really fresh locally sourced ingredients where possible.
In addition to the fresh food, they offer a wide range of juices. I ate there many times with friends. You can go alone and make friends, everyone is really friendly.
Just go there and see for yourself!

Easily the best spot in Palolem for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee! This place is perfect any time of the day. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, nutritious and there is so much variety. The boys working here always have the best energy and are so friendly and accommodating, no wonder it is always so busy! Must try: coffee, green smoothie bowl, chocolate cake, nourish salad. You can spend hours in here, the vibe, the food, the company. Thank you for all your beautiful energy and food, very grateful for this place.

This restaurant is a hipster haven. It's about 10 minutes from the beach on a busy road. It caters to Western hipster palates, i.e. there are mezze platters, fancy salads, smoothies and raw vegan cakes (if you want them, get there early, they are delicious but also often sold out in the evening). It's a bit more expensive than the other local restaurants, but worth it.

The Tropicana juice and scrambled eggs were absolutely beautiful. The staff were wonderful and knowledgeable about the food. My Sixteen year old on arrival was confused at the ethos and the shoes off policy and on our last visit was pulling her shoes off and bounding into Zest. Her favourite breakfast was the veggie breakfast especially the avocado on tasty sour dough bread. The restaurant was clean and the toilets well looked after. We will be back !

I visit Zest often as my partner is Vegan. Some of their dishes are just weird to a non vegan, but still are very tasty, and healthy. The smoothies are amazing, and they gave some interesting desserts to try. I definitely recommend you visit if in the Palolem area

Well, I was waiting for the place to reopen after the lockdown period as I already heard about it from numerous vlogs/blogs. Needless to say, taste comes here with health. Delicious smoothies right from Berry Boost, Tropical Bliss to Strawberry & Cream. Scrumptious Toasts - loved Avocado Bruschetta and Garlic Herb Mushroom. The SHOWSTOPPER although is - "Pink Smoothie Bowl". What taste! What a look! This place has been my daily breakfast spot. Would love to visit again whenever I'm in South Goa again.
P.S. Met RD here and he is amazing to talk to and treated me very well. He gives you insight about North India treks as well (well, if you're inquisitive).

We visited because it had great reviews and were not disappointed. My husband is a meat eater so was a little unsure whether to come here but I convinced him it would be good for him. Wouldn’t be his first choice but it was mine as the food was absolutely delicious, so much variety and good portion size.

The food here is just amazing, and so are the place and location! A big variety of vegan and vegetarian food, gluten-free options as well. The crew working there is amazing as well, always so welcoming and happy! Perfect place if you want to work or study, meet new friends or just sit and enjoy a good meal. A must visit while in palolem! Peas and love❤️

Chilled ambience. Mostly foreigner crowd.
The food is truly mouth watering. During our stay, we ate here multiple times and it never disappointed.
The staff is very welcoming. Our server RD was friendly.

Without a doubt, the best place to go in Palolem. Delicious food, amazing staff, beautiful vibe, good music playing, all round INCREDIBLE.
No matter if you get a killer coffee, a luxurious smoothie bowl or a healthy salad - you are in for a treat!
The perfect place to go when your craving a taste of home and need a break from the Indian cuisine. 10/10 !!! :) I shall be back!
