GERMAN BAKERY, Palolem

Not only lovely fresh baked goods, but the Nepali man there cared for our other needs like a father. He showed us a super place to stay nearby at a moment's notice. We were fleeing that morning from a horrible place we had booked in...the area and were much in prayer for some solution. So we rented the place near German Bakery and enjoyed their food and hospitality during our stay.More

we only tried baked goods

interesting German bakery run by Nepalis and located in India. We came late in the evening so maybe the baked items weren't so fresh. The banana cake was a bit crusty. The cinnamon rolls looked great, taste was fine...there just weren't many of them left....Staff seemed friendlyMore

Just the best

Been visiting the bakery since 2007, has changed for original bakery shop to great restaurant, food and service are just the best and takes alot to beat the relaxed atmosphere, looking forward to return in 2021.

Not Bad

Ok if you want a quick simple meal with no frills,definitely not for a special occasion as quite scruffy.Food is ok and cheap,great for those on a budget.

Eggs on toast

Nice selection of cakes for the kids , coffee was good but in a glass so bit difficult to hold! Very nice fried eggs on seeded baguette

Good place to eat

We had cake and a drink here, and another occasion a full meal. The staff were friendly, the surroundings were fine, nothing posh, just fits in with other resort restaurants. The selection of cakes looked nice, and the cake i had a crumble, was lovely....The meal we had there was plentiful, tasty and well priced. I would certainly eat here again.More
