The food, the service and the ambience are all excellent. I would eat there everyday of the week and I would be able to have something different each time. Everytime I go the food is amazing. Desserts are scrumptious! Thank you for a lovely evening.

You really need to find this treasure. When ourem road turns left after Cafe Ourem, there is a small narrow dirt road goes on the right. Some 50 meters on that road, the restaurant is located on the left. This is a small family run...restaurant with limited capacity, so you need to book in advance. As soon as you enter the place, you will feel the warmth of homely environment. Mr. Brett (the owner) himself welcomes you, makes you comfortable, explains the menu in detail, and keeps visiting your table intermittently to ensure everything is as per your expectations. The food was really, as many other reviewers have already mentioned, is michelin star worthy. The presentation of each dish is spot on, and taste was really mouth watering. Don’t miss this place if you are in south goa.More

It is more like a hidden gem you would have to find. Once you pass the small gate, the very intimate atmosphere already makes it a special evening. Whatever you see in the menu, whatever you chose, will be a flavorful, perfectly cooked, exquisite dish....We went last year, we came to Palolem again this year and still mesmerized. 2 starters, 2 mains, one desert and a bottle of wine for less than Rs 4500 with THAT level of quality is a steal. Wish it can remain like that for ever!More

I will leave the eulogies and food critique to the many who have written before. However, for those thinking this is Nouvelle Cuisine, then think again. This is amazing outstanding cooking somewhere one would least expect. We have just returned from having a three course...meal with two bottles of wine that would have cost 4X in Manchester or London at a fine dining establishment. We immediately booked after our starter was there are only a small number of tables. What was sad is that we watched the hard working proprietors turn away customers who had not booked only to find two parties who had booked failed to appear one hour later! How ignorant! Anyhow we are back there on our last night in Palolem and if you want a break from the wonderful Indian fayre everyone loves here without resorting to pasta or pizza and a classy evening then this is the place to head for. But book in advance as it has a limited number of tables. Five out of five for us!More

Ourem 88 one of most highly rated restaurants in Goa located in South Goa's Palolem area is an absolutely amazing place to dine in at. It's a quaint little restaurant run by a British Couple Brett as the host and mixologist and Jodie as the...Chef and opens only for dinner and drinks between 6-9pm between November to February when they are here in India. The restaurant serves some of the most amazing Continental dishes and cocktails we totally loved our experience here. We ordered a couple of Prawns, Calamari and Goan sausage based starters, a Pork belly with Apple Sauce and Cheese Souffle in mains and Plum and Apple Crumble in desserts. I had a Dirty Martini cocktail which was amazing too and I felt like saying like James Bond "Shaken not stirred 😝" The total damage was 3550 and it's absolutely mandatory to get a prior reservation as they are always full.More

An amazing experience of European food. The best part is the authenticity in each dish which makes you realize that it's made with love and pure European taste. Brett is very humble and guided us to order food in right quantity which is a rare...quality in owners of restaurant. Thanks for the wonderful dinner and I will definitely recommend this to friends and family.More

Just found this place by luck and managed to visit, twice. Some musts: 1. Tomato bruschetta 2. Baked feta with veggies and crusty bread 3. Shortbread with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream (super yum) Though we were vegetarian and had limited options still enjoyed...everything as it was garden fresh and served with love! Special thanks to Brett! Please reserve yourself a table to go!More

One of the best dinners I ever had! Small restaurant and booking is must (better try 5-7 days before visit to make sure to get a table) Gracious host with helpful suggestions on food. Quantity is good and quality excellent. They have a 'regular menu'...which itself is lovely and a special menu daily Can't say high enough in the taste, presentation and the overall experience of dinner. Make an effort to visit the place and definitely worth going out of the way to try dinner in Ourem88More
