Choose this place due to its proximity to Kaas Pathar which is like 2 km away. We had booked the non ac cottage for 2 which was 2500 rs/day and were upgraded to the Ac cottage for the same price. Rooms were large and comfortable...with the old haveli type feel with the antique doors and windows but not to worry the inside had all the modern amenities. Our room was round shaped and had a large double bed with a side sofa cum bed. Had a large fridge instead of the usual mini fridge and also a good ac. They have a combined bathroom and toilet with jaguar fittings and a water geyser. Room service is avaliable but I advise you to go to the restaurant next to the front desk. Breakfast and tea are included. At the restaurant there is a good choice of traditional maharashtrian food and Chinese food. We had the Mutton thali, the chicken thali and a veg thali made in the kolhapuri style which were all really nice and recommended. Had a Chinese Manchurian rice which to take a break from the thalis.More

In summary, a good place for enjoying nature, great views but It lost on restaurant service. Now the details - To be precise the restaurant service I am talking about is not the one on the road. But it is the one downstairs. We went...there at 2:00 pm and got table at around 3:30pm. That is not because of lot of crowd on 'bhakad' day but it was inability to serve fastly and because of very less staff. So after waiting there we moved to restaurant which is on road. There we got relatively good service. We ordered veg - punjabi dishes. It was not of some extraordinary quality. It was not bad.. One good thing I felt was, even if you finish lunch and you are not staying in resort you can still move around, click photozz, enjoy nature. That part after lunch somehow made up for the loss of mood..some good, colorful objects have been created to have some trip vibes to your clicks.. So barring restaurant service.. and that is one of the important aspects.. Rest is good and enjoyable..More

Despite being located at perhaps the best location for Kaas, this is perhaps the worst hotel I have stayed at. Filthy rooms, not cleaned since last guest departure, sheets and towels abominable, and dirt all over the room. The 'Delux Bungalow' we stayed in had...a double bed on one floor and a bed in a loft, accessible only by steep, dangerous wooden stairs. The restaurant was filthy, tables and floor not cleaned, dirty used crockery and cutlery kept overnight from the night before lay about in a tub at the entrance, even at 9.00 am, when the manager had said breakfast would be served from 8.00 am onwards. Basic ingredients for a standard meal not available either. I think the worst was the uncaring attitude of the owner / manager, who, without even an apology, explained away his slovenly hotel and premises by saying the hotel had had guests at a party till 2.00 am. If they have to cater to unmanageable parties, they should close the premises till they are ready to receive other guests!!More

We were a group of 3 families travelling to Kas Plateau for flowers. Based on some reviews we picked this place to stay, they could offer us only non AC rooms as resort was running full. The rooms were so small that somehow we spent...the night. Rustic style is OK but basic comfort should not be compromised. The food was very good and staff very helpful. However, we felt staying at a proper hotel at Satara (30-40 min drive) would have been a better alternative. If one opst to stay, please insist on AC cottageMore

Washroom was very dirty. The lady on the phone gave our number to many people they kept calling us and asking same questions again & again. Daal khichdi and tea was over expensive more then 5***** hotels. They didn't even share the menu with us....Bedsheets were stinking and the mattresses were really dirty. We had to stay as it was late night and we drove almost 40 minutes for this location. Wrong info on website.More

Visited Heritage Wadi in September last week. We were 3 couples staying in Ac cottages. The rooms were nice clean and spacious. The property itself is vast and at a picturesque location just a couple of kms from the valley. They have kept photo props...all around the property to take nice pics. The only draw back was the restaurant. They had no menu and the rate of dishes fluctuated from waiter to waiter which was bad. The complimentary breakfast was limited and horrible and had no variety. Overall nice place for a visit . They need to take care of their restaurantMore

Heritage wadi lives upto its name. They have actually created a traditional Indian village type homes and colours along with basic modern necessities like ac. Location : just 2km before the great Kas lake. Bang on the peak although doesn't have any valley view rooms....TIP: u need a car /bike for the visit to Kas lake or any other place like the city. It has nothing around it so u can make it a base for kas lake visit , valley as well as organised group treks through the jungles.. Rooms : spacious can accommodate at least 4 adults with ease. Staff service : very local and basic but quick. They have an attached restaurant that serves the food . All local village staff so not well trained but good enough for what u need. Food : the restaurant serves most local stuff including fish thali, local breakfast items like Poha, omlet etc. Price : rooms cost around 3K per night without breakfast.More

Pros: Nice location and view from the resort. Quaint old rural style compact cottages. Person in charge of our cottage Ramesh was the only polite person there. Cons: Get everything in writing when you book from them. We had the rudest shock when at the...time of check out we were charged 50% more than what we were told on the phone. We had some WhatsApp messages which we showed them requesting that the rate negotiated was this and not what they are charging. Our pleas were responded with rough language and shouting from the staff. The lady who took our booking refused to answer our calls or respond to our messages. The restaurant staff was really rude and callous. We were made to sit for an hour before breakfast came and when I went to the kitchen to inquire they were busy having tea and snacks themselves whilst their guests waited patiently. The check out was the worst nightmare when they asked us to shell out more than what we were told at the time of booking. Even our advance paid was not reflecting with them. There is no proper bill anyway... just a notebook paper on which the staff scribbled whatever they wanted. Telephone wasn't working so no way to communicate with restaurant, and we had to personally go every time we needed something.More

To be honest it is a 1 day trip from Pune to Kass plateau, but we decided to stay because we needed a break from city hassel, but it turned out to be a disaster. We booked their bungalow suite for 5 ppl with 50%...advance and when we reached the resort they kept us waiting for good half hour saying the bunglow is occupied and will be vacant & cleaned within an hr.After sometime the same person was trying to convince us that this villa is not good enough, because when it rains all the water comes in the varanda and there is only 1 toilet in bunglow on which we replied we are ok with it and then he said person with whom we booked the villa (which happens to be the owner's wife) didn't inform them about our booking. So basically the wanted us to shift to 2 smaller rooms with colgged toilet and leaking walls because they overbooked the bunglow suite. That's when the owner comes in and lies us that this bunglow is allotted to ppl who were suppose to leave today but they are staying for another 2-3 days as they are shooting which was obviously a lie because it was a group of 28 ppl (family) which checked out on the same day we checked out which is the very next day. After a heated conversation with owner we decided to stay where he allotted us 2 very small rooms without paying anything extra which he was offering us before at discounted rates (which didn't made any sense) since we booked a bunglow suite in advance. They promised us bonfire but that didn't happen because all the had was wet logs. The management staff is very arrogant and so is the Owner. Housekeeping and service staff are pretty decent. Food they served for lunch was good and the same was served for dinner by adding good amount of water(tambda rassa) .There is no point in complaing because they talk back to you instead of solving the problem. And when they say complimentary breakfast expect Misal pav or bhurji pav without pav or stale rock solid pav. This place is not worth the money.More
