Got here early (not hard if you're English, I'm talking 8:30pm!) and it was mostly empty which worried me slightly but turned out to be a good move as the place soon filled up with queues forming for tables by about 9:30/10pm. Mostly locals which is always a good sign and adds to the atmosphere (and decibels!). Service was good... More

This place gets packed and although it gets some tourists, the majority of customers seem to be locals who travel there by car. The kitchen opens 1.30 - 4.00 pm and again from 8.30 - midnight and the tables get full and queues form about half an hour after each opening time. It's also open for breakfast and I think... More

We ate here a couple for time while in Arcos. It's a small bit out of town on a roundabout. The place is a local favorite that serves very rich tapas and larger portions as well. The arroz con leche and flan were outstanding.

Some friends recommended El Zindicato and although it is close to where we live we had never previously been. What a mistake and what a find. The service was very good but the food was amazing. We only ordered the menu del dia (Menu of the day) but the selection and quality of the dishes we ordered was superb. Most... More

This restaurant may look unassuming with slightly old fashioned table cloths covered with glass, but the magic starts when they bring out the food! This is a restaurant where the locals eat and you can absolutely see why! Besides serving wonderful seafood (the chokka is amazing and they do the most sublime stuffed prawns) they also have an excellent selection... More

El Zindicato on the Arcos de la Frontera ring road is one of the best vale restaurants in Spain. Since it moved to the bigger premises from the old town customers have had to arrive early (by Spanish standards) to get a table or wait for a table to become available. This is my only complaint - it does get... More

It was thanks to Trip Advisor we visited here but were still blown away by the quality and value of the food and drinks. We took a couple of friends, one a fussy eater, and none of us have much Spanish so picking dishes was a bit of a lottery. We were so pleased we arrived well early at 1.15pm... More

The ZINDICATO is situated at the Carrefour (supermarket) roundabout coming into Arcos from direction of Jerez. Next to the excellent chinese restaurant BIG HOUSE and the Hostal Andalucia. Very popular becasue of the great value dishes as well as excellent quality and slick service. The management know how to please. Most tapas are Euros 2 and you have a good... More
