Different types of maharashtrian snacks available. I tried Wada-usal i.e. a combo of batata wada n usal of Misal. Mouth watering! Generally people ordeer either wada or misal but wada usal is a top class dish they have. Totally worth spending every rupee.

This is a known famous place for those visiting Karjat, Matheran etc & this is must stopover for having a bite on Vada Pav, Missal Pav & that kind of stuff. If you havent been here already, you've missed some tasty stuff till now.

This place is very conveniently located on the Karjat Chowk Road. Its a street facing local fast food place with a high turnover. What this means is that you will get food thats freshly made. Try the misal here - this tasty mixture of usal,...chopped onions and farsan is had with pav. The difference here is that you have the option of having unlimited usal - which is served in a small bucket on your table. What is more the place has good service and they think through it. As the aroma of freshly fried pakodas comes through - the management sends a small sampler of a couple of pakodas to your table with the compliments of the house. I think its a great strategy to sample the range while also getting Customers to order more This is my go to place every week as I pass by this Chowk to go ahead to Karjat. This place at Karjat is very popular with tourists and locals as well for Bata Wadas , Misal Pav and Bhajjias . Onion & Palak Bhajjias are highly recommended . Tea is quite refreshing. The place is not a typical restaurant but looks more like...a dhaba but I highly recommend this place for travellers .More

This is basically a Dhaba open Restaurant, with a very limited menu of Batata Wadas, Misal, Onion Bhajias, Veg Samosa. Ambience, is typical Dhaba, and the items are fried, in the open, in front of you. Tasty items, but has to be eaten Hot, and...there itself.More

I had Vada Pav and Onion Bhaji. Both were tasty. Vada Pav is Rs 12. and Onion Bhaji plate is Rs.30. Usually crowded.

If U are ready to begin ur trek or picnic or just a drive place u cannot afford to miss. Located bang on the highway...a small but decent place to grab a quick early munch..Options are limited but are tooo good. Special Kandha Bhaji is...really really special n amazing. Vada pav is really nice. Misal was not outstanding but still much better than many other places. Not to mention the special masala tea which u cant leave without a repeat. Great wrt price, portion, quality and even better the rains around !!!More
