My wife and I dined recently for dinner at "the Bistro," the restaurant at Auberge West Brome, and we can recommend it highly. Our 'table d'hôtel" dinners (Cornish Hen & Lac Brome Duck) were delicious and the portions were plentiful. The waiter was attentive and...professional, and we enjoyed the ambiance. We shall return! Nestled in a beautiful rural area, The Bistro is an excellent choice for a delicious meal in the Eastern Townships and it is located conveniently near Sutton (15 minutes), Bromont (20 minutes), and Knowlton (15 minutes). They have various seating options from tables for two to a private room and even a banquet hall for larger groups.More
First class service. First class food in a country setting. Wow! We were impressed with everything here. Imaginative menu with something for all palates. The chef has delivered dishes cooked to perfection. From the amuse vouches, bread to appetizers, to mains, all were impressive. I...had the salad, my wife had the boudin noir. She is still raving about it. Delightful fish from Iceland and rack of lamb cooked pink sous vide. Roasted vegetables and mousseline potato. Deserts are also out of the ordinary. We will be back.More
A fabulous romantic dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The service was fantastic and the food was incredibly well prepared. I love that they highlight local flavors and ingredients.
The food is superb!!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all delicious. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. The wine list is also great. I highly recommend this place

While its the only Bistro/resto on the premise, they make up for it by offering you a great culinary experience. You can tell this place prides itself for their cooking because they use locally grown produce. In fact they have their own garden and grow...their own vegetables. The menu is plentiful with a variety of choices. Chef also creates daily choices; so that's your time to discover something new. The maitre D also created a signature cocktail, its a must have - so delicious made with ungava gin, St-germain, and a twist by adding a scoop of lemon sorbet. You wont be disappointed. Kudos to the chef and team!More

The service and food at the Bistro West Brome are outstanding. It is a lovely place to eat any meal at any time of the day. The food is so well prepared and thoughtful- and reasonable. I wish I lived closer to this bistro but...the anticipation of our frequent return to this place makes me happy and have something to look forward to! We have been coming here for almost two decades and even with the routine changes that occur in any restaurant and inn the standards have never weakened. The servers are the same in many cases. This speaks volumes to me.More

Returned to Bistro West Brome for dinner when visiting Sutton last week. It is always such a pleasure to dine there. The food is excellent. This time I had very delicious duck and my husband enjoyed the beef he ordered. The wine selection is excellent...and I love that they serve a very nice Cava by the glass. Service was, as always, professional, attentive and friendly. We have stayed at the Auberge in the past and it offers beautiful accommodations in a very picturesque and pastoral setting.More

So good! Calm and charming place that provides cosy and original recipes with local ingredients. The only minus point is that they do not serve local wines (very good!) "by the glass".
We were delighted to find this lovely Bistro on a warm summer Sunday. We were warmly greeted and directed to a window table. Our waiter was knowledgable and attentive. He walked us through the menu, giving advice when asked. We began with a recommended bottle...of local white Vidal Dom Les Brome, which was delicious. I chose the Bavette Angus for lunch, a 21 hour, tenderly marinated Angus flank steak with crispy fresh fries. It was perfect! Hubby had the Table d'Hote, two course lunch menu with a light, fresh salad with local greens and lamb, which he declared excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, the superior service, and the great food.More
We visited three times and each time, always a great culinary experience. Impeccable service, delicious food, original in the local ingredients they use... Very nice time!
