We were first people in on a wet Thursday night in early May, at the unfashionably early time (by Spanish standards) of 8.30pm. The decor is very much 'hotel restaurant 1990'. The music (as noted by an earlier reviewer) still seems to be a free Spotify easy listening feed, including ads, which doesn't do much for the ambience. When we... More

Trying to organise a meal for nineteen demanding foodies at short notice during one of the busiest weeks of the year induced quite a high degree of anxiety. However, my wife and I should not have worried. Both the food and service at this restaurant exceeded our expectations. Our friends were deeply impressed by the wild mushroom risotto garnished with... More

Rex Numitor, is one of the finest cuisines I have been in Spain, and I have visited A LOT of restaurants in Spain. Food is delicate flavor are balanced dishes are innovating and delicious. I took the Cherry Gazpacho and the Fish of the day. Amazing place to eat lunch a impressive surprise completely unexpected.

I cannot remember when my wife and I have enjoyed a restaurant meal as much as this (and we have visited restaurants all around the world!) The menu offered many varied and interesting dishes for a jaded palate and those we tried were cooked and presented to perfection. The wine list also was extensive, interesting and not overly priced. Perfect... More

We ate at this restaurant in September 2016, attracted from the street by the varied menu, attractive décor and friendly manner of the smiling English speaking waitress. We were immediately served a complimentary entrée (croquettes) and given time to choose our main courses and drinks. The slow cooked beef was among the best dishes we have experienced and the suckling... More

We enjoyed an amazing local dinner with a wonderful bottle of wine. The food and staff were everything you could hope for and an easy to get location.

The restaurant has a very interesting and well-executed menu showing imagination and real capability. The dinner was so good there that we came back for lunch. We tried all three of their cold soups and hard to say whether the cherry gazpacho was better than the cold almond soup, but either is superb. We particularly enjoyed their seafood, both the... The location is just off Plaza España and the interior is beautifully decorated and delightfully cool. The staff are very helpful, speak English and the menu is available in English but the descriptions are Google Translate and not accurate so rely on the staff. The mains are small modern tapas style and we enjoyed all of them, we ordered 4... More

We came here as we have been walking around the Roman Bridge and this looked to be a nice place to relax after some walk. We ordered a grilled hake with vegetable which was very good and also a gyorza with pork but the skin was too hard. The white wine to go with my fish was fantastic and overall... More

We enjoyed lunch here after visiting the amazing Alcazaba on a very hot day. The food was extremely good. The menu del dia was great - very nice salmorejo and a tasty pork loin. All the flavours and presentation were a slightly classier take on other restaurants. The restaurant was empty when we arrived but after 2pm a few locals... More
