This was my secon visit. I must say the meat is one of the best I ever had. The staff is very attentive and welcoming.

The place has interesting deco. the menu was hand written on blackboard, not printed. The starter was in rather big portion. they seemed to have only one waitress who could speak English.

Came for lunch of a Friday with a local wine merchant friend. Warm welcome by the owner and Sylvine the head waitress. We started with a Salade Printaniere, lovely season salad with a house Chardonnay and then carried on with one of the daily specials: Brandade de morue, which is the french variation on fish pie, with cod as main... Very quaint and original bistrot in the heart of Chantilly. Food is excellent, service is genuine if not slightly odd. Don't be put off, everyone has your best interests at heart.

Just come back from Chantilly in Monday (21.11.16) and visited Le Goutillion restaurant for dinner on Sunday evening. The owner (Maxim) was a real gentleman and so attentive in every way. We had fantastic food and the tastiest Cote de Bouef for 2 you can imagine for 60 euros. I can honestly say it could have fed 4 person. We... More

We enjoyed our lunch here. We had the entrée and plat de jour, and they were very good. The madam who runs the place was fantastic. If you don't speak French don't worry, you will still get a few hugs if you smile. If you want a French bistro experience, try here.

Fantastic Sunday lunch today - great French home cooking and great atmosphere - full of locals. Traditional French decor. Big portions. France used to be full of such family run places - now sadly a rarity. Chantilly an amazing setting to wander around before and after lunch. Well worth a detour

It's a small place that'll you're easily miss, set amongst all the other shops and restaurants, but it's worth searching out. When we walked in, there was another small group speaking English and the waiter was very friendly and helpful with them, speaking very sound English. Our waiter also spoke English, very well, and was also very friendly. I ordered... More

We had a great, classical French bistro meal here for a reasonable price. Staff didn't speak English but they were welcoming. It was very popular with locals too. Indoor or terrace options.

Description
This is a typical French country inn-type of restaurant; beautiful bar, local patrons, just the perfect memory of our trip to France. Menu on the chalkboard brought to the table..traditional French and delicious. Some English spoken, but very little.
