Go to this fish restaurant often on a Saturday teatime for a seniors special. A three course meal for senior citizens real value for money. There is also a takeaway shop attached to the restaurant, where the fish & chips are just as good

It is approximately 2 years since I last visited here having been living in Northumberland and was amazed that the staff not only remembered me but that I always used to have a glass of iced water and a small bottle of Pinot Rose with my meal! The food was as excellent as I had remembered, hot and tasty with... More

The Wetherby Whaler is a Pudsey landmark, still referred to as "Cravens" by some locals, it has been in business for approximately 30 years. During this time they have perfected their craft! The fish is moist without being greasy, the chips are soft without being soggy & the batter is light & crisp. The restaurant is warm & inviting, the... More

Called with a free download in between drinking had haddock and chips, mixed bread and Tea each for £9 each. We were served by a very enthusiastic young man with plenty of enthusiasm for his job. Would definitely recommend.

This was my first experience at a whetherby whaler chain and it's one I will not be attending again. We had a group order and we had travelled some distance for this. They forgot my order (lunchtime deal) even though we paid for the order. Once I had rang and collected the order, I was unaware that my meal deal... More

Decent chippy in a good location. They always provide consistently average fish and chips. Service and speed of orders leaves something to be desired and overall it isn't amazing value for money.

We visit the WW probably once a month. We always sit in the restaurant. The service is good and the food is served very quickly. It's usually pretty busy, it doesn't seem to matter what time we go. We are often the youngest customers in there. I think a lot of people go in for the OAP special. I recommend... More
