Stopped for a midweek lunch at Guildford and discovered the Guildford Village Tea Rooms. We both had the Homemade Lamb and Rosemary Pie. It was served with chips or salad or both. It was absolutely delicious. The Ice Coffee was the best anywhere. Not a lot of seating but there is some inside and outside. I would definitely recommend this... More

Guildford is such a lovely place to wander around and it's easily accessible via train and you jump off the train and you are right there. The tea rooms here are lovely, they do great coffee and the breakfast is great. I'm not sure about the rest of the food because I stop here for coffee and sometimes breakfast on... More

We stumbled on the Tea Rooms when we were out looking for somewhere for breakfast. They always say that when you see a busy restaurant it is a good restaurant - and that is the case for this place. We were with my parents (in their 70's) and my teenage daughter. We were shown to the very back room, which... More

Came here with 2 other couples and found it to be a very cute establishment and I very much liked the running theme of antiques with the federation style building. I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon and was thrilled with the size of the dish for the price. We all well and truly left with full bellies. The iced coffee... More

Ordered a Big Breakfast for lunch. They had run out of spinach so gave me mushrooms instead. I felt like they could have seasoned it more. Great location opposite the train. People eat at places like this in Guildford because there's not much choice!

First time in Guildford, looking for a tasty lunch and boy did we find it. Basic tables on the pavement outside and simple menu. But wow the food was excellent. I had the ploughmans (see picture)and it was really tasty and filling. My wife had the Spinach and Feta Quiche. Equally tasty. Service was very friendly and efficient. All reasonably... More

I have been coming to this place for years and never leave without a massive smile, amazing food at good prices and the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. Must try the chicken soup! ☺️

The food remains excellent - particularly the breakfasts. Walls have been knocked out to maximise the indoor space in this iconic tearoom. This brightens up the place but makes it way to noisy and not ideal to enjoy a visit with family or friends. The coffee servery and machines are too loud. Some of the tables still sport the decades... More
