The Bell Inn offers a great selection of food at very reasonable prices. It is excellent quality, and landlord and landlady, Barry & Heather, plus the restaurant staff of Paula and colleagues, made it a very enjoyable experience. Well worth giving it a try!

We were staying in nearby cottages and used this pub a few times for evening meals. Prices were very good. Menu is a good selection, above average pub quality. A selection of ales were available, although the quality of one was suspect, the others were good. Friday night we had the pleasure of "The legend that is Bob Geedy", a... More

Cheap, cheerful and quite extensive menu - probably 20+ lunchtime options, all at £5.95, all with chips and peas or (in a few cases) with a salad. Not a gastronomic delight, but who would expect that at rock bottom prices? Actually surprisingly good food, substantial portions, served hot and promptly by attentive staff. Excellent value for money if you are... More

I love the current incarnation of The Bell. It's cosy, welcoming, dog friendly, has a lovely garden and well kept beer. The food is good country pub grub - unpretentious, well cooked and tasty and unbelievably good value. It's definitely the best it has been here for years, I find an excuse to visit whenever I'm back in the area.... More

There were eleven of us (pre-booked) for lunch a few days before Christmas. We were given a warm welcome, served quickly with excellent food at very good prices. Really nice friendly place. I'd recommend it and would go again if I was in the area

Visited with a group of friends and had the 2 course meal with roast dinner for around £10. Staff were really friendly and food was prompt on the table. Unfortunately bread for the prawn cocktail was stale and the roast dinner was terrible- soggy veg, and potatoes tasted like they had been reheated etc. Not the greatest meal, but a... More
