Our evening meals there were excellent. We had to have breakfast there as our B&B didn't do breakfast on our first morning and the owners here made us feel very welcome

Only if nothing else is open. Scallops were tough and in an awful brown sauce. Frozen veggies Luke warm! Meat on bread with Luke warm gravy! Over use of microwave. Over priced for what they serve.

this cute little restaurant is in the village. Nice menu of light entrees and desserts. I had an egg salad sandwich sandwich $7.49 which was supposed to be served with "vegetables" for dipping - that was a one inch carrot stick and a one inch celery stick. Order a salad if you want something more substantial. The haddock BLT with... More

If you are interested in the history of that area, this is the place to go. Very authentic which gives you a real feel of times gone by.

Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon wandering around the historic village. I have a feeling every trip would be a different experience because your visit would depend on who you happen to talk to in the different buildings. We also had a good lunch in the tea room.

My family visited mid afternoon for coffee and something sweet. We ordered butterscotch pie and something called the chocolate bomber. The butterscotch pie was not very good and the whipped cream on top was flavourless. The chocolate bomber was delicious, it was described as cheesecake with a Reece peanut butter cup inside drizzled with chocolate. I expected a slice of... More

Arrived just before closing and they still served up great game made meals that included salad, home made Turkey vegetable soup and pan fried haddock. All tasted very fresh. Really enjoyed the home made biscuits but could not get the owners wife to give the recipe to me. 😀

We stopped here for lunch as we didn’t see any other restaurants on Hwy 7 between Antigonish and Halifax. Service was friendly but a bit slow as the food is prepared when ordered. The fish and chips came with a decent serving of fish for a lunch and quite a lot of fries. But the “French toast” was just regular... More

What a lucky man I was to have the delightful experience of dinning at the Sherbrooke Village Inn on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Having stayed at the Inn many years ago, I was looking forward to see the Inn and having a late lunch there. (2 pm). I was warmly greeted by the new owner's daughter and offered a window... More
