I stopped by here two weeks ago when I was on island, on my way from North Side to dive shop. The food was amazing, HUGE portions for a really reasonable price. And Shernett, Sarah and Yoellis (the staff--apologies for poor spelling!) were great! HIGHLY...recommend a stop here. :)More

We are on Grand Cayman for the first time and finding our way around the island enjoying some touristy things and the natural beauty including snorkling and the beaches. Part of the adventure is finding good places to eat to satisfy adults and kids. The...grandparents, parents and grand kids all enjoyed the food at Island Bites. This major food truck was a major find. The large menu and the tex-cayman food approah is perfect. We enjoyed the tacos (each meat option) and the rice bowls (we tried pork and jerk chicken). Great meal for everyone. The portions are large so good value for your money. Grand Cayman is not a cheap place for eating out so we were very happy to find these guys. And, the owners hit an absolute homerun with the coconut ice cream. The smoothie options were all delicious as well. Go to Island Bites because it will make you happy.More

Went in 2019 and now back in 2020. Still a great casual place to get a great affordable meal. Had pork, chicken and fish tacos with plaintain fries, delicious! Also, save room for the coconut icecream, so good I had to take a container back...to the condo with me. YUM!More

This food truck is directly across the road from Cayman Crystal Caves. I had the jerk chicken and mahi tacos and they were delicious. The fried plantains are good also. Even though the attendant told us "5 minutes" for our food, it was closer to...15. We didn't mind the wait, we had nothing else to do. But be prepared for "island time." The tables set up outside the food truck are well-shaded, and there is plenty to look at while you're eating: lots of chickens (definitely fun to watch the territorial roosters protecting their areas), plant life (we sat under an ackee tree sagging in fruit). There are a couple of hammocks to lie in while waiting for your food.More

I really tried liking this unique food truck experience, but I can honestly say it was only average in terms of food quality and taste. The fish tacos were ok, but nothing to write home about, the hamburger not cooked all the way through and...the fries a little overdone and unseasoned. Bugs were bad in the picnic table/small eating area next to the food truck which meant lots of swatting mosquitos while trying to eat, and, although I love all the roosters and chickens running all over the island, having a herd of them right underneath the table while eating was a bit disconcerting. The people who run the place are very friendly though and service is quick and relatively inexpensive by island standards.More

Have driven past this place on 3 different trips, so our group decided to make the stop last week. While the ordering process was a little confusing, everything else was excellent! I had the curry chicken, others got the jerk and tacos - the fries...were top notch - all was really good. The owner came out to chat - his dog was just as friendly - really enjoyed our stop and the food - will likely order take out next time we are on the island! Oh - and get the swanky tea!More

The food was, fresh, well prepared and delicious. great perk chicken and jerk pork. The best conch fritters. excellent plantains and slaw, great rice and beans. Delivery to Rum Point/Kaibo. Friendly delivery person.

I had the Jerk chicken with island slaw-wonderful!! Had 6 sides to choose from so difficult choice. Husband had fish tacos-he didn’t like that the cheese wasn’t melted but the fish was fresh and tasty. Menu is very extensive and food comes out fast. This food truck serves some of the best food on the island and their homemade ice cream may have been the best I have ever had anywhere. Both owners came by our table and talked with us like we were close friends. They embraced my...service dog and showed us pictures of their dogs. It's laid back, casual. We had just left the Crystal Caves across the road and had been told about this hidden gem/ Food truck. Starving, we went over and ordered. I was craving a burger and was NOT disappointed, They've a bbq right out back and my burger was...cooked to perfection and HUGE. My husband had the Citrus Chicken Tacos and couldn't even finish two- but he thoroughly enjoyed them. Picnic tables and fun island music played. The gals cooking and serving were delightful. I'm told that their rum raisin ice cream is delish, but we were too full to even attempt.More
