Great affordable food, with great personable service, and a lovely atmosphere. Would love to visit again sometime soon.

8 of us ladies ate here for lunch - we all had the special salmon which was delicious - service was with a smile and prompt - sweets were yummy and prices very good - we shall definitely be visiting again and will spread the word
Went as part of a group soup tasted mainly of veg stock. Had cod with cheese melted on the top and three slices of tomatoe couldn't cut the middle of the fish to rubbery. Didn't complain as with a party and didn't want to cause embarrassment but would have sent both dishes back had we not been
We where taken here by the Out laws, sorry the in laws for a meal and taken to this place. Most of the time when their paying we are taken to some garden centre that happens to have a cafe, so this was a hell of an improvement. The place its self has loads of parking and the inside decor... More
Starters were good. Deep fried brie with salad and cranberry. Mushrooms for father in law and fish cakes for husband. Father in law ordered scampi which he said was delicious. However, my chicken and my husband's steak were both, unfortunately, tough. The chicken also being dry. The pub was extremely busy but there were plenty of efficient and friendly staff.
My mum treated me to lunch at the Farmhouse as my husband was working on my Anniversary. We were given a lovely quiet table and had the most delicious food. All dishes are accompanied by a huge dish of freshly cooked vegetables. The plates were hot and the food beautifully presented. We were so full we had no room for... More
Absolutely awful, sub-standard quality food at hyped up Christmas prices. We paid £25 for a meal that at a Sunday carvery would not have been worth £10.
Birthday party of 8 - we attended this pub in December for a birthday party, the food was very good, homely fresh cooked and of a good standard, every member of the party was pleased with their choice and we had a lovely evening.....Service was good and it was reasonable price.
Such a warm welcome from (I think) the land lady. All members of staff were so helpful, that combined with lovely homemade food will draw us back to this pub again. If you are in the area call in, you won't be disappointed.
