We just called into the bell on the way home from a day out. It was a lovely end to a smashing day. Friendly host, great choice of drinks and a lovely 'pubey' atmosphere. Will be returning very soon! X

The Bell has recently been renovated and taken over by new management. The menu offers a fair range of well executed dishes and the wine we had was rather lovely. Desserts looked limited.Good service and surroundings made this a pleasant evening out worth repeating.

Throughly enjoyed our meal here today. Pleasant atmosphere with a warm welcome from the staff. Service was quick and the food was amazing to be honest. Only blemish was my dessert which was strudel which was cold so wasn't to my taste but this did not affect the overall score. Certainly intend to visit again.
We stopped in for an evening meal on Friday night. The staff were really nice and welcoming and the place has a friendly family feel. There was a gorgeous wood fire too. The food was good, I had steak and my husband had a pie and we both enjoyed our meals. Hearty portions and catered for gluten-free. It was lovely... More

Food good and even catered for my fuss-arsey nephews (cheeseburger with no cheese, and no salad, and... More

We went as a party of 5 to the Bell for Sunday lunch on New Year's day. The food was good and reasonably priced and was served quickly... More

My husband and I dropped in to the Bell for Sunday lunch having just hiked up the sugar loaf. The pub looks pleasant enough from the outside, with good off street parking. A traditional style establishment, with the usual pub tables and chairs, organized neatly along the walls of the dining area. The staff were pleasant And attentive but not... More
