I cannot say enough positive things about the service, food and atmosphere of this dining establishment! I have dined here before an look forward to repeating the experience when I am back in the area. I am a foodie and they never disappoint! The only thing that tops the food is the service. We were a table of four and all had different dishes for appetizers, main and dessert. Tracey was out server and was extremely knowledgeable (I mean above and beyond knowledgeable) on not only the food selections but the preparation of that food, how the Chef could alter a dish to suit the customer and the wine parings to go superbly with our dishes! We were extremely happy with our meals and will all be back to experience the food and service again. The only negative that I could say was that it was a bit chilly in the old place but that is to be expected to some degree due to the beautiful old home and the fact it was winter!

We went with another couple for a Valentine`s dinner. It was a pre-fix menu due to the fact that they knew it would be a busy night. Between the four of us we actually ordered all of the selections. Each was a delight! The food was exceptional! The service was remarkable. Our server Tracey and her helper, Trinity were so warm and efficient. There was a friendly buzz in the restaurant that evening and patrons were talking table to table, all raving about the special valentine drinks, superb food and the wonderful service. We had the most incredible experience.

We had a reservation for the outside patio which overlooks the vineyards although we had to move inside once it started raining. The inside dinning room is quite nice but a bit dark.
Generally the food was quite good. They have a very small limited menu.
The watermelon salad was only OK, nothing remarkable.
They run out of the halibut main but substituted an Arctic Char which was quite well done but accompanied with a very small side of couscous. The chicken was equally good, but not much sides with it.
The dessert menu was also quite limited and the apple crumble was not that great.
The service was excellent.

Really didn’t enjoy sitting in a bedroom (?) alone, especially upon going downstairs and seeing a dining room full of people. I understand spacing people out, but there could have at least been another table or two in our “private” room. Ambiance really missed the mark. If we wanted to dine alone we would have ordered takeout and sat at home alone. Server was nice, but service was a little strange. Received our sparkling, bread and appetisers at the same time instead of having some time to enjoy the sparkling and/or bread first, then got the main course pretty much right as soon as starters were cleared. It felt like there was a lot of time from when we sat down until we ordered, then that we were rushed after that. More accustomed to having time between all of these things, made us regret ordering a bottle of wine as we didn’t feel we could enjoy it in time, practically had to chug it. Then by the time someone came to check on our mains they were pretty much done. I ordered the fettuccine which was delicious, albeit very peppery and the noodles all stuck together as if they were sitting after being cooked and before being tossed into the sauce. Chicken and duck were delicious. Dessert was fabulous we loved the creme brûlée! I’d consider coming back and hoping the strangeness of the night was a one off.

This spot on the bench is amazing. The views, the staff, the food. All of it! We started with a tasting before our lunch reservation. The knowledgeable staff were wonderful, providing all the information on the different wines we had selected to try. Then when we entered the restaurant, which is in a large, old turn of the century home, we were treated like royalty. Our server, Matthew, was attentive and knowledgeable as well as very friendly. We enjoyed the soup of the day, which was a potato and leek with bacon. We also had the Gnocchi and the charcuterie board. We paired an un-oaked white Chardonnay with lunch. All was incredible. Thanks for the lovely time.

My husband and I have come to this restaurant for many years and wish it was like it used to be. We really didn't enjoy our dinner and left feeling disappointed. The Pappardelle pasta was okay with a watery and bland tasting sauce. My husbands Tenderloin had grizzle pieces and the sauce on top was not great. Roast vegetables included a tough turnip that was too hard to eat. The price point was high considering the quality of food was not that good and the presentation was so, so at best. The scenery was lovely with a very nice outdoor space, the service was good but the poor quality of food made this a dinner experience we would not recommend.

Diana was an excellent server. She was professional, friendly and was definitely knowledgeable about the menu and its ingredients, which is especially important for people with food allergies.
Diana knows how pair wine with food and we absolutely loved her wine suggestions.
She was most accommodating when we requested a table change.
Beautiful venue! We all said we would highly recommend this restaurant.

The service was excellent and the food was average.
A charcuterie board at this level of dining should be elevated from colby marble cheese and another bland, cheap, gummy cheese. That was the entire cheese selection for $22 per person with a few salami slices and a couple of olives, the crostini were nice and salty. I haven't had marble cheese since I was a kid, so it did make me smile (for a second). Generally, in wine country, a charcuerie board is a sure bet but not this one. Jambalaya was tasty but little noticeable seafood for $48. Portions were hearty.
The dining room is small and intimate. Only two tables when we were there, and they seated the second table directly beside us.

We visited this hidden Gem for wine tasting and lunch.
love their concept of wine tasting that allows you to sit out in their Patio n enjoy their wine.
Their restaurant has a limited yet excellent menu ,this combined with the exceptional service of Michelle ,made for a truly wonderful afternoon of good food ,wine, dessert and conversation.
After Dining inside their beautiful dining room ,we had dessert n Coffee in their outdoor patio.
Wow! a truly splendid afternoon.

After reading all the rave reviews we decided to give this a try. We had reservations and when we arrived the room all 10 tables were empty. Yet we were seated at the table by the kitchen door. They did accommodate my request to sit near the window after I asked. Then we sat with no menu,no water, nothing for at least 20 minutes. Finally our waitress appears, apologizes for the wait and gives us menus. We ordered wine and appetizers...the highlight of our meal. Burrata was good as was the Mussel appetizer. For dinner we ordered the Braised beef rib risotto. When it arrived it definitely was not what we expected. There were no short ribs, only a plate of risotto with shredded pieces of beef in it somewhere. Needless to say we ate very little. Our waitress wanted us to order other entrees but we declined. I said I would make up with dessert. Ordered NY cheesecake. When it arrives, looks wonderful. Take a bite...frozen in the middle. Waitress was so embarrassed. She actually comped our meals to make up for the horrible experience. The server was the best part of our time there.
We did notice that the chef is new ( August,2021) so maybe he needs some time to settle in.

Thank you for your valuable feedback regarding your experience here at the Restaurant at Peninsula Ridge. We strive to be the very best and obviously we really missed the mark during your visit. As I am sure you have heard, finding quality staff in the hospitality industry has been a real challenge for our entire sector as a result of the Pandemic. Unfortunately, this includes us here at Peninsula Ridge.
I am happy to say that we are finally getting there and I now believe we have one of the best culinary teams in our 20 year history with the addition of some great new staff. Please accept my apologies for your experience and we hope to see you back here soon.

We drove in from Toronto on a Thursday night for dinner reservations at 7:30pm.
The patio was located overlooking the vineyards, very quiet and serene, watching the sun setting as we enjoyed our delicious meal.
The Beverly Creek Farm Lamb was incredibly tender that I didn't need a knife to cut it. It was very flavourful. The Steamed PEI Mussels and Roasted Carrot and Hazelnut ‘Cheese’ is a must for appetizers. The freshness and flavours are key.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant, and we were blown away by how excellent the food and service was. 3 of us had the eggs Benedict, and my partner had the French toast, and there was not a crumb left on any of our plates. The drink selection was also awesome, as not everyone in our group wanted wine with their meal.
We cannot wait to come back and try their dinner menu.

We had the most wonderful culinary experience on the beautiful outdoor patio! We were promptly seated and our server was amazing as well. The red wine sangria was a perfect beginning! The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch which consisted of Risotto and , which were served hot and fresh! Our server paired our meals with very tasty wines. We really savoured our raspberry sorbet! We were also told several times to not rush and enjoy the beautiful scenery! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend!, Cheers!

We’ve been here years ago and it was one of the best experiences as a foodie I have ever had.
Alas, they have fallen a long way. First , I’ll give them credit - the service was good, and the atmosphere and grounds were nice. This is why I rated them a 2 instead of a 1
So what went wrong? It started with the Caesar appetizer. Salad should never be soggy or mushy…. Yet this is what was served. The dressing tastes like it came from a jar.
My main course was the salmon with curry sauce. While the sauce was flavourful, that was about all that was positive about this dish. The fish was bland, the rice pilaf … well it has Color …. But no saffron flavour. Again, bland. The asparagus was over cooked and … surprise… bland.
Oh, peninsula ridge, how you have fallen. I’ve been raving about your restaurant since an amazing tasting meal 15 years ago , but now you’re a shadow of what you were.

The dinner was very good. But we did not get buns with butter upon arrival. The server did ask if we wanted drinks. My husband wanted a Molson Canadian beer. The restaurant doesn’t provide this brand. He decided to order Merlot instead. It was very good. I ordered a pineapple Mimosa. Delicious! We ordered a meat. & cheese board for appetizers. Also had 5 shrimps in sauce. All was great. We heard the next table being told that they could have carmelized onions…..we were not told about these sides!!! All was good. We went for the steak & lobster special. It was a good deal. You end up spending around $200 + anyway
