Enough baked range of foods for family of 4 with different tastes. Considering the population of the area I hope people support this bakery otherwise it's pre processed which would be a real pity.

Great little bakery, we returned to waikanae after 18 months and our first visit was to the bakery. They do amazing pies, my favourite being the beef bouginon, bread is also amazing.

OBB is a favourite down Waik Beach. Friendly service & huge selection both savoury & sweet. Tuna sandwich is always great, ham baguette another fav. Best pies in Kapiti. Cheese scones are famous.

Simply this is a local bakery specializing in great pastries, cakes and savories. The staff are friendly and helpful. However you need to get in early as the good stuff sells out quickly. In terms of the hot food from the cabinet this is particularly so as there is a tendency for some product to dry out.

Great pies, the croissant and other pastries will melt in your mouth and the date and orange scones well... just don't go to this place if you are trying to lose weight. The coffee is great and I'm told that their bread is also excellent. What else is there to say except go early on Saturday as the queue will... More

Stopped early today, big queues which tells you something. Pie was great and scones very very nice! Definitely worth the detour

The food here is amazing, it is so good being able to see them make all the bread in front of you and there are so many different options that I would not normally find in a regular bakery. There gardens and seating is also amazing with them growing their own vegetables on site. The staff are also super helpful... More

We are in NZ for 10 days on a holiday, driving from Queenstown to Kapiti. We visited five bakeries in north and south islands along with many cafés, and this is the first time I saw French style croissants, pastries and bread. I am so pleased that I am posting this review immediately after our visit to this bakery. We... More

Yes yes yes. Yummy crusty breads. Yes! Need we say more. The place for bread in Waikanae. Other favs like scones are also good. Be quick in the morning. They sell out by 1200 of many items.
