This place deals adequately with hunger and the food is well prepared so you don't need to worry about getting sick. The shape of the room and wall colors are quite striking, and you can choose a table that is on the screened porch which wraps around the dining room. But there is nothing even remotely "excellent" on the menu.... More

Quick stop for lunch. Nice surroundings. Quesadillas were yummy. Would suggest for anyone in the area.

We asked our guide to take us somewhere with local food and he brought us here on the way to our resort. The national dish is beans & rice, which we ordered with chicken and it was delicious. Service was fast and the waitress was super nice.

We stayed here for nights two and three of the Ruta Maya race. The hotel is very nice and the staff are great; especially Sham the bartender (thanks for the Aloe Sham!). The drinks are a bit pricey for a jungle lodge in Boom but you are paying for the atmosphere. Rooms were nice, food was great, and the location... More

We stopped here during the Altun Ha and River Wallace excursion from Carnival Cruise Lines. I had my two boys with me (13 and 8) and we only had two options for food, rice and beans or cheeseburgers and fries. My kids wouldn't even finish them and we were pretty hungry. They were fine, just not great and it was... More

Breakfast, lunch and dinner, the quality of the food, the presentation and the quantity exceeded our expectations. Local cuisine favors jerked vegetables, meat and fish, with a heavy emphasis on seafood. Soups are superb, fresh homemade breach melts in your mouth, and fruit juices are freshly squeezed

Just finished staying at this resort and eating in the Restaurant every day. Great staff and delicious food. Not particularly cheap but the atmosphere and views make it worth the price.

The lunch salad was fine - big and fresh, but our $100 dinner for 2 was really disappointing. Food was bland and uninspired, and EXPENSIVE! I am a foodie, and I don't mind paying good money for a great meal, and I also appreciate simple home style fare, but do not expect to pay the same for the different dining... More
