The pub serves some pretty good Fish and Chips, Irish Stew and a choice of other dishes, including pastas . On a Tuesday evening, it was extremely crowded, probably as there was live Irish music there that night.

This is an interesting old pub. I've been to Doolin many times but failed to visit this pub. A local man on the Cliffs of Moher ferry said that McGann's had the best seafood chowder in town, so that's where we went after the ferry cruise. The pub has plenty of atmosphere, as most old pubs do. I ordered the... More

This is it, when you think Irish Pub- McGann's is it. Super packed full of people listening, singing and some even dancing to traditional Irish music and drinking pints. We met some wonderful people here from the states, but also from Ireland. I chatted with the woman in the band. Everyone was so friendly. The best part was they do this... More

It is hard to favor one Doolin pub over another. This was a great one. Try to sit on a bench (with back) and not a stool if you plan to stay late!

Doolin, itself, seemed a rather small and spread out village, in spite of its reputation. But Mc Gann's made up for everything. This was an Irish Pub at its best. The food was very good, and not too expensive. The atmosphere was very pub-like. But the best was the Irish music every night. The music started around 8:30 - 9:00... More

Friendly staff and atmosphere.. Food is great. Traditional pub food and a great choice. Also a great place to just sit and have something to drink. Loved the music. Always eat here when I am in Doolin.

Food was good and worth the visit. I had a good fish fry and my husband had the lamb. We would both recommend these dishes. The atmosphere was very cramped and was difficult to get the attention of a waitress. Also the tray at our table was stuffed with open ketchup packets that were disgusting and made a mess when... The food here at McGann's Pub was by far the best in Doolin! The Lamb dish was so delicious! Fun atmosphere that is great for families, couples, a group of friends or even by yourself!
