A great pub in which to spend evenings when in Doolin. Famed, I believe, for the traditiional music - and quite rightly so; we enjoyed a couple of smashing sessions. Food was extremely good, we ate there every night whilst in Doolin, my particular recommendations would be the beef in Guinness stew and the bacon & cabbage - both hearty,... More

My friends and I visited recently, and I wasn't very hungry so I opted for the seafood chowder -- it was amazing! Very fresh seafood in a light broth with a few drops of cream added. And this was one of the best Guinness we encountered on our travels.

This place is great! Very efficient system for ordering your meal. Fast service. Excellent food. This was the best fish and chips we had all week. Can't say enough. I hope to return one day!

We were on a rail/bus tour out of Dublin and stopped here for lunch. It was fantastic! I had the salmon and the others at my table had the Guinness stew. The way you ordered was efficient, but we got in just before the line turned into a VERY long one. You order at the bar and tell them your... More

We knew going in we would have to order at the bar. But we weren't expecting to have to stand up there for as long as we did to get served. I don't know if this is the best system. Food was average. Came quickly. Live music was good.

Visited O'Conner's with 33 friends and we were kept together in the same area. To make life easy, each table was numbered and it was a case of ordering at the bar to save confusion over later bills. A good choice of food. A 10oz Irish steak cooked medium was perfect. Laid on a bed of onions and mushrooms with... More

We had a very good introduction to Irish Food at O"Connor's Pub. Good fish & Chips and desert. Of course, the food went down better with the Guinness.

O'Connor's Pub is not to be missed. The food is pub food, good. The music, however, is why you go. The night we were there, Christy Barry was playing with no less than 4 fiddlers. two concertina players, on accordion player, a flutist, etc. To top it off, a lady from Chicago of Irish decent joined in to play the... My daughter,my mother, my Catalan friends and I, arrived here after a day spent at the cliffs of moher. We enjoyed a great evening, eating amazing steaks and fish and listening to some great musicians. The atmosphere in here is great. The sun was beating down outside and my Catalan friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves. If I ever visit west Clare... More
