Went to the apple store after a recommendation from a friend. Never really been to a tea room like this before, different to your normal pub / restaurant / cafe. It is a long old fashioned conservatory building with tables and quirky decor. We had sandwiches which were very nice, then indulged on an egg custard and a "slab of... More

This is quite a unique place to visit and experience. Staff friendly, food good , clean environment. Very rustic place. Good parking or one can visit whilst walking.

This cafe is truly a hidden gem. Have been a few times for breakfast and it was very filling and enjoyable. It's mismatched pottery and crockery add to the charm of the setting. Even dogs are welcome. Will for sure make this a regular place to visit.

A real hidden gem, lovely rural location in Trough of Bowland, amazing home cooked food, extensive menu, and cake selection to die for. Lovely log burning stoves for a cosy winter lunch, great outdoor space for summer get togethers.

This place is set in the most lovely environment yet lacks organisation. Food was ok once the order was finally delivered, another table ordered similar & ours got mixed up with theirs despite their order being taken first! Quite disjointed we were away in the "conservatory" so there's always the possibility of being forgotten as no one meets/greats you just... More

Cafe is in the old orangery. A little time-worn but this is the main attraction and we really hope the building works going on round the back don't morph into any gentrification of the exisiting bit. Random chairs and tables, mixed up crockery - all adds to the experience. Service is sometimes a bit pedestrian but take a paper and... More

My wife and I stopped off on our circular walk from Scorton upto Nicky Nook. Did the walk anti clockwise, so we arrived at lunchtime. It was very busy, always a good sign. The selection of cakes looked inviting, Doreen went for the home made soup whilst I had a fruit scone with jam and cream. The food was delicious,... More

This cafe is well worth a visit It's a favourite with walkers and cyclists as well as the silver surfers, who can enjoy a vast array of tasty meals and snacks in very rustic surroundings.

Have visited before but this time was for afternoon tea as a thank you to our daughter for helping us clear out the loft! Rang to book and also to mention she was vegetarian - not a problem. Table ready for us on arrival, tea order taken then the food arrived - tuna, ham, cheese and egg sandwiches on both... More
