I had the pie of the day which was ok.Pastry was overdone but filling was nice. Mash potatoes i think were instant which was a shame. Ok for lunch but really would not rave over it. Lovely setting though in a nice village

We went on a Friday night for dinner, all the meals were nice and had an enjoyable visit. The menu selection was not very extensive but the food was an reasonable price as it was two for £12.
Bar service was a bit indifferent, customers should not be referred to as 'mate' unless of course they happen to be the bar man's friend. Food service was quick and the portions generous but some of the veg was over cooked and not that hot.
