Finished my trip to Limerick with an outdoor lunch in Durty Nelly'. Must be a record for me to dine outside twice in the one day.. As I was well fortified from breakfast time, I opted for fish for Lunch. The cod was excellent as was the service.

We pulled in and found a space right away. We walked in the door and were seated right away. The server came immediately and took our drink order. The Irish coffee was the best I've had ~ better than the Buena Vista in San Francisco! Fish & chips was exemplary. Nothing critical to say! All the hospitality of which Ireland... More

Extremely disappointed in this restaurant. It came highly recommended. Food in the upstairs bar was pretty bad for the price we paid. Service started off poorly, but restaurant was very busy, and got better as night went on. Bartender didn't know how to make the drinks that member of my party asked for. But nice view of castle next door.... More

Durty Nelly's is a great place. Great service, food and staff. It is by the Castle so grab lunch before your visit. Cold beer as well and nice T-shirts.

The food was great, the drinks were fantastic and the ambiance cant be beat. I would highly recommend stopping by and enjoying an irish coffee and eat the sticky toffee pudding. The service was fantastic and it feels like a traditional old world pub. There is something about just hanging out chit-chatting and drinking with a medieval castle right there... More

We walked over from our hotel and had beer and fish and chips. We sat outside in the wonderful sunshine and were pleased with the pub service. We went inside to order our beer and food and the staff brought out the food in a very timely manner. This is a place to stop by if you are in the... More

Visited before our Medieval Castle dinner and was very welcoming and authentic looking. Just stayed for a pint but wished we had more time for a real dinner. Definitely a place to visit.

We dined here early on a Saturday night, and chose to go with the restaurant side, dinner menu 3-course option. Every single item was amazing! For starters, we had the seafood chowder and mussels, and then sirloin and roasted lamb shank for entrees, and finally sticky toffee pudding and irish coffee parfait for desserts. We loved it so much we... More
