The smoked fish is delicious. The wild salmon is superb. The fries are very good, too. And the servers are delightful. Recommended.

Had dinner with colleagues and all the food was good. A good menu with plenty pf choice. All for a good price and good large portions. Looks like a large Cafe but the good is good. Worth a visit.

I rarely pass through Ardara without stopping at Charlie's. There is always a great welcome from the staff and the food is good and reasonably priced. I'm normally there for a morning fry. This is one of the few establishments were the staff will refill...More

Stopped here for lunch while in the area. Friendly staff and food was good - nothing fancy. Mom had vegetable soup and an omelette with salad, I had chicken curry with rice. Not too bad price wise.

You open the door here to a packed cafe. Lots of chit chat and a lovely athmosphere. A family run shop. Being Good Friday I had Fish and Chips which hit the spot after the 3.5 drive from Dublin.

I give it five stars not for the most fabulous meal I have had, but on service and decent unpretentious food. My husband had fish and chips and I had an omelette and chips. We got a massive pot of tea. We had a long...More

While biking the Donegal Peninsula we stopped at Charlie's as it looked like one of the most popular places in town. We enjoyed talking to the staff. It was clear that the wait staff knew many of the customers. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere.
