Great food! Recommend this place for those visiting Cashel. We sat further along the restaurant which was bright and airy. Nice selection and reasonably priced.

We came across this little gem in Cashel and decided to try it out. I'm glad we did as it was one of the best meals we have had out in a long time. We both had Chicken Liver Pate to start and then I...More

Didn't have reservation and explained I was looking for table for 1. The waitress directed me to a table for 4 but as it was lunchtime I told her I'd prefer a smaller table in the bar area. The barman who was very efficient &...More

Very very disappointing visit for lunch - was expecting something special in view of all the hype before its re-opening. Very pretentious with its modern decor and fancy uniforms - however very limited menu and while ingredients may be locally sourced - the end result...More

The revamped Mikey Ryan’s offers what is essentially pub food but it does it well and to a high standard. Overall, the redesign is a lovely one and in this segment of the market, is streets ahead of the burger n chip offerings of Cashel’s...More

We visited Mikey Ryan's for dinner. While the menu is not extensive it has a good choice. Food was very good. Service and friendliness of staff was excellent. Bathrooms must be the cleanest I have seen in a restaurant in sometime.

Description
Mikey Ryan's Bar & Kitchen is a gastropub in the heart of Cashel. We are situated a stone's throw from the famous Rock of Cashel and just off the Dublin/Cork motorway. Our kitchen, lead by chef Liam Kirwan, has a cooking from scratch ethos with a commitment to sourcing local and organic produce. We offer wholesome, seasonal dishes which reflect Kirwan's interpretation of local gastronomy. The bar stocks a selection of Irish spirits and craft beers, some lesser known than others and our wine list has been carefully curated with a focus on biodynamic, natural and organic wines. It's not such a long way to Tipperary after all... #EveryonebacktoMikeys
