Strangely, Glengarriff is lacking in decent cafes, however on the advice from a nice girl in the town, we were pointed towards this fine establishment. About a ten minute walk, we were greeted by a very fine display of savoury foods, salads & tempting cakes. Great coffee ( Badger & Dodo), lovely outdoor seating, and very friendly staff. I thought the food was lovely although the portions were a bit too big for my liking. It is situated in a beautiful spot and there's nothing like it around Glengarriff.

Some time ago we stopped here on our way to Glengarriff village for some food, it was so good that we have been back here a number of times since, & have been very satisfied, both with the food & the extremely happy friendly staff. The selection of quiches, sandwiches, salads, cakes, desserts & daily specials is truly amazing along... More

Very unassuming from the outside. We'd read great reviews and were uncertain we'd come to the right place... Cosy interior and great lunch food...hearty sandwiches, quiches, soups and salads...and of course wonderful cakes and coffee... Be aware that Jim's doesn't take credit/debit card so take some cash with you... It's well worth a visit...

Good homemade food! And nice staffs. Only thing they should accept credit cards as the nearest ATM is miles away! Family environment, felt like home!

We had a blue sky day in late April and were delighted to find Jim's coffee house for a break from our touring. The outside patio is large and ample room for us to sit outside and enjoy the day. Inside the place is whimsical in a charming way - nice furniture and décor which looked well kept and clean.... More
