There is a good choice of dishes at a good price. Being a pub there is also a good choice of drinks. The Barman served the drinks and helped serve the food. There were also waitresses taking orders etc. Excellent service. A fairly quiet Monday evening probably helped but in Athlone finding anything open on a Monday was good news! Would... More

We went there on a busy Saturday evening with 4 kids. I was a bit worried when we arrived as the place was very busy and all the servers looked quite young. I needn't have worried, We were seated quickly and given menus. My husband got steak and I got the burger, It was honestly the nicest burger I have... More

Went here due to the reviews we had read. Weren't disappointed. I had the Texas burger which was good, hubby had the stacker burger. He struggled to eat this and that's unusual. Atmosphere was good, staff attentive. On seeing other food being brought out it all looked good. Would definitely recommend

I could not fault the food. It is definitely a step up from your run of the mill pub food. The service is not good though. When it is busy at lunch time it all falls apart. Especially if you're on your one hour lunch. You could order at ten past the hour and not get your food until quarter... More

We walked into Murphy's Law as we were looking for a place to eat on a late Saturday afternoon and nothing else in the area seemed to be open. It was reasonably busy which was not surprising due to the lack of alternatives. Due to that we expected it to be really noisy but were positively surprised that the noise... More

For me, this bar failed to deliver food wise on it's coeliac menu (Advertised as Gluten free). When I ordered a GF stir fry (with chicken extra as the GF option was originally vegetarian I also chose the noodles option but server came back to table to say only rice was GF which was ok) it became apparent to me... I have eaten here several times, the food is ALWAYS very tasty, very good value and generous servings. Because it's pub you can have a pint with your meal, well worth a visit.

We took the advice of other reviewers on TripAdvisor and we're glad we did! We were greeted by the bar staff with a cheery hello when we entered and menus were delivered to our table shortly after. I opted for the Striploin steak, medium cooked, and himself had the Lamb chops and we were not disappointed! The following day after... More
