We had a Family Meal here recently. First of all the view of the Harbour was excellent, the Restaurant was bright and airy.. We had 5 different Main Courses and each was very good. Starters and deserts were also very good. Service was very professional and what i liked was the head waiter returned before we were finished our meals... More

We had a delicious three course meal here recently as part of an overnight deal. We had Goats Cheese Tartlet and Deep Fried Brie for starters and we both had Trio of Seafood for mains. The starters were divine and the mains were mouth-wateringly delicious. The trio of fish consisted of Sea Bass, Cod and Hake – absolutely scrumptious! The... More

We stopped in town just for dinner without realising that the restaurants around here tend to get really busy on the weekends so it may get challenging without a reservation. We got lucky with Jacobs Ladder as they managed to squeeze us in. Food was served quickly and was really nice. Easy on the wallet too. Recommended.

Four of us were travelling Ireland when we happened on Jacob's Ladder. We had a wonderful table looking out over the harbor. Everyone liked their food and two thought it was the best chowder they had on the trip. I thought it was the best fish and chips I had in Ireland. The real topper was the brownie I had... More

Found this by accident and it was lovely. We had a lovely table overlooking the sea and the boats coming in and a view of spike island. The view was stunning. The staff were very accommodating. The food was good and not over priced given it was a hotel. I would recommend it for the setting alone

It is located right on the water with great open windows for a beautiful view while you eat. We had the fish and chips and the shrimp and prawn linguini. The food... More

Went with family. Good guality food well cooked, service was good. Chef was able to cope with a vegan with no advanced notice. This is the sign of a good restaurant, with a chef who knows what they are doing.

Food is not bad but not absolutely great either. Not a huge choice and there are other nicer restaurants nearby. A bit understaffed and need an update. A bit pricey for what is on offer.
