The Church Restaurant was visited after an unexpected visit to the local Dentist. Half my face was numb and I had no idea how I was going to eat. I choose the Seafood Chowder - great choice. Easy to eat and lots of flavours. The atmosphere was well worth it. To sit and enjoy the beautiful lead lighted windows was... More

Very pleasant restaurant set in a wonderful old church with spectacular architecture The food was plentiful and reasonably priced and although it was nothing spectacular I could not find fault Staff were very good when assigned to you and some management intervention required to train them better

I had the fish and chips. The fish was ok but the chips are not freshly prepared and tasted like cardboard. I'm questing the small salad was also out of a packet. It cost €12.90 which is expensive enough. The men's toilets also have a ridiculously small space for the urinal. The building itself is nice.

This restaurant in the middle of Skibbereen busy roads is very good however could do with some improvements given the prices. The fish and chips (haddock) was excellent; the annexed salad could be improve a little bit and looked pretty much what you get from a Lidl bag. The chicken goujons were good and looked home made. The steak sandwich... More

We ate here on two occasions on our trip to west Cork - the food is good quality, very big portions and good value. Fairly limited wine menu. Staff are attentive and very efficient even under pressure. We would return.

To say this was the worst family dinner experience is a understatement, and on Mother's Day too, after being left for 5 mins to be attended to, the older woman decided we didn't need 2 tables together for 5, so took one table and shoved us into a small table for 4. Leaving no room for side plates etc .... More

We ate there on a busy Saturday at lunchtime, they very kindly reserved a table for us . Food was lovely, generous portions and well presented. The decor was the reason we ate there, it's so gorgeous and very atmospheric, lovely seating area outside , this is a busy restaurant and the staff work really hard, but they were so... More
